either refer to previous posts for people with budget similar to yours or maybe be more specific on what is your requirements

personally, if the build quality is good, in the 10's or 20 ringgit should be more than enough. he'll i using few ringgit AUX to connect my phone in case i want to view youtube in car lol.

other than that i just use usb, better connection, and uses the HU DAC instead of the phone's DAC

Oh i'd like to try out my usb govibe dac LOL

eh, tak boleh. The govibe is for output not input.

Hey guys, Suddenly I have a thought of changing my plan... which do you guys prefer with budget around 300-380 for Myvi

1) get an active sub, since it also come with built in amp to help enhance front speaker sound nicer(Correct me if I'm wrong with the amp)
2) just change both of the front 4inch speaker

Please suggest! More suggestion also welcome! I just want it to be better than its original sound system rclxms.gif

Wow! Active sub so expensive ka... I thought around 380 like that... Btw the 4" speaker will help produce some bass? just light bass? I scare will sounds like laptop speaker with no bass at all (doesn't mean the SQ)
Not sure if you know what I mean sweat.gif

if u only add active sub, ur human voice and instrument there will sound cacat. if u add 4'' speaker, ur sound will clear a lot. after u add 1 more active sub, u will see, woaw, why the sound so wide and the mid bass so kuat liao de drool.gif

Clarity yes.. but the bass thing is a little exaggerated la. It'll be loads better than stock. But it's nothing compared to a standalone sub.

Hi bro, if I were you I'd consider going to a reputable installer and let them sort out your ICE for you. If you don't want to do that then you'll need to learn about component speakers, ohm, RMS power, 'sharp/bright/muddy' terminology, matching different HUs with amps and speakers, it's awesome. flex.gif Anyway it's not hard. Just need to resist the temptation to buy on impulse.

Installers that I know that are highly recommended are howiechoo from EA Autoworks Bukit Jalil and Peter Chong from CV Audio Uptown Damansara. Give them your money and they'll do wonders with your ICE setup without being overly lansi... Howie banyak lansi one. rolleyes.gif

Well bro, with that budget in hand I should say by replacing all front & rear speakers to 'coaxial' speakers system will justify you some degree of better sounding yeah smile.gif ...I have seen & heard of such effects already
