QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Mar 21 2013, 01:31 AM) alpine/pioneer entry level around/under rm600 no problem How to differentiate them as entry / pro range ? alpine sounds to me, kind of bias to that brand Actually already eye'ing on ALPINE CDE-121E any words on this one ? QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Mar 21 2013, 01:26 PM) i'm using alpine too, however its the old eub100 a simple way to identify entry/pro: entry = you can get with your budget, while pro you cant buy it, lol. they can cost up to 2-3k, even 4-5k or more(the old alpine f#1 lol) I see, so that is how. Anyway thanks.

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Mar 26 2013, 12:29 PM) FLAC or not does not matter as the portable (eg: your ipod) already processed the FLAC file and converted it into analog signals to send through AUX port (hence DAC) How much does a good aux cable sales out there?

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Mar 26 2013, 03:20 PM) personally, if the build quality is good, in the 10's or 20 ringgit should be more than enough. he'll i using few ringgit AUX to connect my phone in case i want to view youtube in car lol. other than that i just use usb, better connection, and uses the HU DAC instead of the phone's DAC Oh i'd like to try out my usb govibe dac LOL eh, tak boleh. The govibe is for output not input. This post has been edited by KenDiriwan: Mar 26 2013, 03:40 PM

QUOTE(joshgm_119 @ Jan 28 2022, 03:03 PM) Just curious if there are any good recommendations for an aftermarket HU that has android auto/apple carplay? Seeing the ones from Pioneer are around 2.5k Pioneer HU are reputable.
