Hey Guys, I plan to upgrade my 2nd hand 2008 Myvi with Stock speaker&HU with limited budget around RM300+

Any recommendation? 6x9 or anything... just throw in some suggestion to me.
Btw I didn't plan to add subwoofer... Just want the SQ, Bass, Treble to be better than original...

Additional Info, usually the car only occupy 2 ppl in front...

Wondering which should I start first? HU or speaker? or both? even my current Nissan Sunny Chaplang 6x9 speaker setup with tweeter @RM170 paired with a JVC player @RM190 is much better than myvi current sound system...

Btw cut 6.5 u mean is cut the front one? I'm noob in Ice setup esspecially with myvi... My old Nissan Sunny just change the back 6x9 and add tweeter...

Actually I haven't get the car yet, which is coming in 2 weeks... but I heard the sound system of Myvi before...
I prefer changing speaker without cutting anything >.<

Ohh ok... That's for just changing the front speaker? Behind one just leave it?

Thanks! btw any brand to recommend for that speaker set? because car speaker like have sooo many brands compared to computer PC speaker.... don't even know which are value for money...

But... they will let us test to sound before purchase? PC speaker i know got test unit la... car speaker i duno where to find... Just need to know what is reputable brand so that I can try on first... because sometimes some accesories shop try to con ppl by showing those beaitiful speaker 3 way/4way and say it is reputable brand while actually they are just some cap ayam only...and also the price tag they put there is ridiculously high and give u 50% discount... I was like, boleh percaya ke?

Myvi front speaker can only fit 4" right? if didn't do any cut or mod to fit it in...

Hey guys, Suddenly I have a thought of changing my plan... which do you guys prefer with budget around 300-380 for Myvi

1) get an active sub, since it also come with built in amp to help enhance front speaker sound nicer(Correct me if I'm wrong with the amp)
2) just change both of the front 4inch speaker

Please suggest! More suggestion also welcome! I just want it to be better than its original sound system

Wow! Active sub so expensive ka... I thought around 380 like that... Btw the 4" speaker will help produce some bass? just light bass? I scare will sounds like laptop speaker with no bass at all (doesn't mean the SQ)

I didn't expect the bass to be like sub la... atleast better than the bass-less stock speaker is good for me... mayb like bass level of some cheapo 6x9 speaker?

I'm somewhat noob in ICE... can clarify about "Component set"? does it mean whole set of speaker with same brand?
