I'm somewhat noob in ICE... can clarify about "Component set"? does it mean whole set of speaker with same brand?

A component set consists of a tweeter pair, midbass pair and a pair of crossovers.

And yes la, underseat woofer will do better than those coaxials in terms of bass.

HU look into alpine/pioneer, speakers you can look around entry/mid level from reputable brand. search around the thread/forum can provide you the answers

additionally you can pm reputable installers such as howiechoo and he can help you our (and even can provide auditions for you to get an idea on the speakers he carries)

I'm using Myvi SE2. Kindly advice for SQ Audio setup.

Currently using standard HU (2DIN Player), Alpine SPS-410 (Front Dashboard) & Alpine SPJ-17C2 (Rear door panel)

Plan to upgrade HU and add 6x9 speaker. Prefer Pioneer model, budget around RM700-800.

Hi all sifu here.. im interested to change my car audio system.. my budget not so high.. below 5k.. for head + woofer + amp + chging only speaker in front side.. (not gonna chg speaker behind) any suggestion pls...

Below 5k? Wah.. even 4k is reasonable? If so you have a very healthy budget. Shouldn't be a problem to get HU, woofer, component speakers and amp. Now all you need is to find a trustworthy installer.

If PJ / Damansara - CV Audio Uptown Damansara - Peter Chong. Go to his shop, tell him what you want and he'll set you up nicely (all new)

If you're looking to DIY and buy 2nd hand stuff, that'll take a lot longer to do but there's a lot you can do with 4k 2nd hand!

you got a good speaker already. just do other things that not yet complete first will be better than changing speaker again..

what happen to your m line/ice? suddenly let go? upgrading to something even better than m line or changing hobby?
