Thanks but come to think of it..paying close to 200 for a pair of homeplugs to watch some free channels and probably few paid ones, not exactly feasible isnt it

Time Capsule does not do VLAN tagging. So you need to use the D-link to do vlan untagging , then you may use your time machine to do it

How come they only provide Unifi within Telekom building(on Floor 1 & 3) here at Pasir Putih, Ipoh postcode 31650?

https://occ.unifi.my/HSBBCustomerPortal/HSB...e_checkcoverage

When will residential homes, the nearby industrial site, Malaysia Shoe City and AEON Station 18 Mall have coverage?

hi guys.. I got few questions here..

First currently my house using Streamyx and now i plan to change to unifi..

As I visit their website, under register process, they able to trace my current streamyx acc.. should i just tick Install UniFi at existing service address? if i tick so is mean TM will terminate my current streamyx and replace it with unifi? or ??

or I should terminate the streamyx at first before register unifi ??

They will terminate your Streamyx and also terminate your old house phone number and replace it with a new number.

it can be quite tricky. make you they are able to trace your previous streamyx account or else your streamyx and telephone line wont be terminated and you qualify for the speedme promotion. Need my assistance ?

By Powerline u mean like the Aztech Homeplug?
*
Aztech is not the only available-brand of Homeplugs. There are many others, including from TP-Link, Belkin, D-Link, etc.

You are absolutely correct. But AZTECH is the main brand people opt for. Marketing tricks really worked for them. biggrin.gif

I also noticed Aztech Homeplugs are among the cheapest in the market, compared to other brands like TP-Link & D-Link.

That's the thing.
2MB/s will cut my current download speed in half since now I'm already using VIP 10.
I believe torrents will enjoy the full speed of the 2MB/s now that direct download is nearly dead.

But I'm afraid when I want to downgrade later, TM will give lots of excuses no to allow me.

PS: Is it true torrent doesn't eat the download cap? Yes I know the cap hasn't been implemented, but it will be sooner or later. Just hoping they don't cap torrents as well.
*
To be honest if you're torrenting it is better to pay a bit more for a seedbox or vpn. I feel very 'naked' not using either of the solutions tongue.gif
VPN cheapest i saw only like rm30/month and i think you should seriously consider doing so.

What do you mean 2MB/s cut your download in half? You get 20mbps symmetrical speed wat hmm.gif

Well when you go for vip20 then you can probably forget about downgrading ever, that's the mentality i guess...
