QUOTE(pheryphery @ Apr 22 2012, 02:53 PM) Hi guys, just installed unifi last month and already received the tm bill yesterday in my email. Previously i used streamyx and managed the termination by bro rattan. Why i still receive the streamyx bill? Anyone here can explain? Or anyone faced the same before? Do i still need to pay the streamyx bill?many thanks.. Don't need to pay. TM will give you a rebate for that streamyx amount.

Getting Started

|
After one week away from home, this morning on notebook and got connected to the internet, after an hour disconnected and cannot connect again. Try IPTV also not working, using tp link 841nd. Then decided to connect back the dlink 215 and can connect to internet and iptv works. Will troubleshoot later maybe members of this forus can give some tips.

Will be using LAN for desktop, cos prolly going to add two or three more desktops. So i need a stable connection for desktops, laptop nvm la... What else I need to get now ? Which router you having? Black or Orange? Nevermind, that doesn't matter much. On your router, either the black or the orange, you should see two LAN cables connected to them. One in yellow colour, another in red colour. Just don't touch any of these, you can just connect your PC to the router by plugging into any of the remaining(should be 3 remaining) LAN Ports. The default setup, the yellow LAN is connected to the modem on the WAN Port while the red LAN is connected to the RED PORT (LAN4 or LAN1, can't remember). Any other ports you can just use to connect to internet. The one in red, even if you don't need IPTV, you can't just unplug it and plug in another cable to your PC and get it to work for internet unless you did some configuration in the router. Hope you understand what I tried to tell you

@rattan Thank you for your awesome work! On Friday (April 13), I asked him all the info I could about UNIFI. A quick reply later I decided to think over the weekend whether to apply or not. On Sunday night (April 15) I sent him all the info needed to submit for application. Monday morning (April 16), all application work done. Installation date was fixed on Friday (April 20). I moved it to Saturday (April 21), and on the same day, everything was fixed and working. It took 2 hours 30 minutes of installation time.
Total time - less than 1 week after application submission to rattan, UNIFI was all set. Quick to reply and very helpful.

Maybe its just heavy traffic. Im getting very good speed to US, China, HK and Europe.
