Any Unifi users able to access http://www.speedtest.net?

I'm on VIP5, I also realized, my IP segment has been changed to 210.x.x.x segment.

when u say u get max speed, wad does it mean? u mean u get to dl 10mb/s?

last wednesday installation was unsuccessful they said.....new installation tomorrow....

why unsuccessful?

i also kena this... logged a service request call and waiting their response...

tried rebooted BTU, using other phone lines and phone also no use.

the LAN on BTU doesnt light up until now

Hi guys, just installed unifi last month and already received the tm bill yesterday in my email. Previously i used streamyx and managed the termination by bro rattan. Why i still receive the streamyx bill? Anyone here can explain? Or anyone faced the same before? Do i still need to pay the streamyx bill?many thanks..

OK thanks. I see that there is one phone wire + another phone wire that uses a 3-pin power plug. Supplying the unit with power is no problem, only the phone wire needs to be attached from the BTU which means using it elsewhere at home can only be done via (as you said) a long telephone cable from the BTU.

Unifi superspeed (Superspeedme promotion for 3 months) let say after 3 months i dont want Unifi 20MB can i downgrade back to Unifi 5 without any penalty. Please advice.

Unifi Biz 10 = 10Mb/s (not 10MB/s)
10Mbps (10240kbps) = 1280kB/s = 1.28MB/s

so max he got is 1.28MB/s which is able to download 128MB file in 100 secs
Streamyx
384kbps = 48kB/s
512kbps = 64kB/s
1Mbps (1024kbps) = 128kB/s
2Mbps (2048kbps) = 256kB/s
4Mbps (4096kbps) = 512kB/s
Bonus 4Mbps (4400kbps) = 550kB/s

Unifi VIP or Biz
5Mbps (5120kbps) = 640kB/s
10Mbps (10240kbps) = 1280kB/s = 1.28MB/s
20Mbps (20480kbps) = 2560kB/s = 2.56MB/s

note:
for Streamyx DSL, expect a minor speed reduction because signal loss in copper line, DSLAM capped rate, service quality of the area.

for UniFi Fiber Optic, user may get higher or lower than their subscribed speed depend on the service quality in area.

just feel 5mb is not enough for home user if you're a heavy down loader...plan to upgrade to 10 or 20mb

They won't let you to do it that way. If that's what you can do, now everyone go upgrade to 20M to use for 3 months then after that all downgrade back. That's hell a lot of work for them to set the cap and reset the cap back after 3 months. There's no free lunch under the sun
