Not all firmware support VLAN which is required in order to get unifi connected to the cloud.

rattan,

My apologies for the delayed response as I was abroad.

Would like to extend my gratitude to the smooth and seamless services provided for the installation that took place at my new home. No more grouch from wife & kids for not having internet connectivity at home!

Again, many thanks and keep up the great work!

Hi,

I'm currently subscribed to UniFi5 using equipments supplied by TM. The problem I'm experiencing now is slow browsing speed (feels the same as my previous Steamyx 1Mb line) although SpeedTest tells me my connection is constantly achieving 4.5 to 4.8Mbps.

Depending on the site location (physical server) you might not see much improvement in international sites, unless they have local caches (like youtube)

Me too! The browsing speed does not change that much but Youtube is amazing. Gone are the pause buffer days even at 480p haha. Now I'm playing mostly at 1080p and still able to watch the buffered bar racing to the finish line. Can't imagine this happening at 1Mbps. smile.gif

Diablo 3 is awesome too. Average latency is at a low of 250ms compared with Streamyx ~350ms. Just that Unifi is a bit unstable at times with their highest latency higher than Streamyx but most of the time only last for a short while.

Averaging 200ms latency. Dont see spikes as you had mentioned. Could be your wifi having interference from networks around you?
