Need help here.

Trying to figure out why when i connect my ZTE modem cable to WAN port at my new Asus RTN13U, it will state that "You have set the wrong dynamic or static IP address for your RT-N13U".

I did follow exactly the settings in current stock TM black router and settings for unifi which kinda of straight foward.

LAN for N13U i set to 192.168.0.1
DHCP also the same range.

But it still say the same error message. This N13U i set as router with PPOE for unifi. Do i need to change anything on modem side?

Do you have the firmware needed for unifi? Means the customised firmware.

I just posted... there is no such throttling or FUP implemented yet. Please refrain from posting the same question which already answered.

Sorry , i'm pretty sure already make a quick search "throttle / throttling / bandwidth throttle" before but no result. Since past few days, my internet has been pretty slow. EDIT: Download speed is normal, but browsing / navigate from page to page was very slow.

Maybe in the middle of maintenance since i can't login to the portal few days ago and still can't view my bill under Unifi Customer Portal today, it show:
Sorry, we are unable to proceed at the moment. This error could be due to loss of connection to the server, please try again later.

On the other hand, my internet speed seems to be back to normal after i deleted some p2p program which need to be online constantly to receive update. My family and relative also didn't download anything using p2p / torrent software. I'm sure it's coincidence since you already confirmed there's no throttling implemented yet.

But I believe there's shaping. I do experience that from time to time, especially when doing heavy downloading. I don't download 24x7 though. Once in few weeks laugh.gif But can see the speed will increase at some time and sometimes just won't go up no matter what I do doh.gif That applies to p2p only though. Youtube or anything no affected.
However, I do experience slow down too... Youtube won't buffer as smooth as before, like what "Angel of Deth" said, it's less responsive. I need to check what's wrong on my side before saying anything further. doh.gif

Edit: Oh... Confirm no quota though... Me alone downloaded >60GB, total >80GB(including upload) in May. No slowdown whatever. Since the first month of installation, I alone always exceed the quota (60GB) given. If take into account all my housemates... I believe it's near to 300GB per month. Some of them don't know download what, forever downloading doh.gif doh.gif

I think maybe it's my router. Too congested. 6 - 9 clients on daily basis logged in. Luckily have spare unit TP-Link TD-W8960N, will upgrade soon.

laugh.gif Ya... My 841ND also can't handle them well. I'm using two routers, one stock d-link dir615 one 841ND. 841ND as the main, dialer etc while D-link just as another AP and use as print server. Sometimes they fail to connect to 841ND then I let them connect to d-link wink.gif

The problem normally comes with wifi. If you got spare router, connect them just use as access point. let them handle wifi. Connect LAN to LAN (from router 1 LAN to router 2 LAN), disable DHCP in router 2(the one you use just as access point) then you can just configure the wifi as another SSID, something like that. laugh.gif
