Lego will not be cheaper becoz of the tax imposed by the government, unless they declare the Legoland as duty free zone, so we can buy the Lego at cheaper price and additional some ciggies and alcohol after purchasing the Lego sets.

I'm surprised that the end of this year 2008, no warehouse clearance sales coz as Christmas is approaching, should have such sales ma.... sigh~~ cry.gif

even without tax or less tax (i..e at 10% typical) it won't be as cheap as US retail prices.. (best is looking like SG or HK/JP prices which I think is like 10-15% cheaper than out retail). and when US got sales even more crazy...

Malaysia Boleh ma like this.
Something I would like to point out: Why Lego sales clearance never being advertised in newspapers, so there will be a nationwide exposure? Government should have a policy that advertisement through newspapers (popular news e.g. NST, The Star, Sin Chew) just like what they did with the housing whereas there will be reserved Bumi-lots for minimum one year, if you all know what I mean here.

I certainly hope that we Malaysians will be more hardworking to buy Lego coz its ridiculous some toys so cheap overseas damn fcuked up over here. Same like cars also la.... I pray that Malaysia currency will perform towards Rm1 = $S 0.50, please Malaysia, you have a world of resources here, do something!
