QUOTE(TongCN @ Dec 9 2012, 09:05 PM) But absent won't bring any adverse effect right? In my opinion, absent will look much better than getting, say 5 marks? At least you can say that you were ill on the day or something. But that's just how I feel. Heard some ppl saying sometime they went into the room and saw so many absent also.. lol ... |

I have a feeling that he already decided to drop the paper before he post here also QUOTE(purplefairy @ Dec 10 2012, 12:05 AM) May i ask does ACCA certificate gonna show how many times you failed/absent in that particular paper? It will be recorded in your result slip. It will write there "Absent/Fail". |

QUOTE(purplefairy @ Dec 10 2012, 12:16 PM) Lets say in the end, I have passed all my ACCA paper, and obtain the final certification. Will it show that I have previously fail/absent in that particular subject or not? I dont wish to have such unpleasant record to show in my final ACCA cert Not in the cert, but you will have to submit all of your results slips when you apply for job. Fail/absent is recorded in the result slips. |

QUOTE(purplefairy @ Dec 10 2012, 12:34 PM) Thanks for your reply and info! Well, maybe its because they want you to try instead of keep dropping papers when you don't feel confident. Don't worry too much about it, my friend's cousin failed P4 like 7 or 8 times but now he's earning 5 figures in a public listed co.OMG!!!! then why the people keep saying you can fail as many times as you can but most importantly you get one time pass is enough. All bullshit |

TBH, this sitting is damn easy...
I messed up because I rushed in Q1, I read the companies wrongly and treat them both as direct subs instead of 1 direct and 1 indirect. If I fail because of this I really got nothing to say. Won't ever see anything like this sitting anymore. |
