QUOTE(JamesPond @ Feb 17 2014, 09:35 AM) last time yes PBB cc was useful, the best? dont know la, but at least got rebate 8% or 12% max RM100 pm, but no more since Aug 2013. Unless i miss out their current promotions ?Now i use it only for their 0% 6m BT just to pay my outstanding before i managed to get Aeon to pay. other than that no use to me..........The best now is HL Wise card that gives you RM100 pm, MBB AMex RM50 pm + TPoints, Watami card RM150 per quarter and finally OCBC unlimited 1% CB. PBB ranks low.....the same goes for RHB VS, now also no use already.... |

QUOTE(sj0217 @ Feb 16 2014, 10:27 AM) I have encounter this happened as well, luckily I have called to confirm my application before statement due date. What bank BT is easier to get?BT could not be done due to credit limit issued, so I need to settle few hundred only entitled for the amount that I request to BT. Also another question, most of the time I paid the minimum payment and sometimes paid more. But I tried to apply some other CC is rejected. If I do BT confirm get? |

Unless i miss out their current promotions ? pbb i long time never swipe even with the rebate. there's a rebate allocation from pbb monthly for all users. Now i use it only for their 0% 6m BT just to pay my outstanding before i managed to get Aeon to pay. other than that no use to me..........The best now is HL Wise card that gives you RM100 pm, MBB AMex RM50 pm + TPoints, Watami card RM150 per quarter and finally OCBC unlimited 1% CB. Hi folks, i have swiped total amount rm1k in Feb 2014, there is no interest charge by maybank yet as the bill need to pay before 6 March 2014.
I just applied a RHB cc, if I apply the BT, and transfer the outstanding to my RHB cc, will Maybank charge me interest while I'm transferring the balance to my RHB cc ? |

MAke all the swipes early in the month.so even though you qualify for the rebate, but if the amount allocated by pbb is used up, then also zero rebate so you need to spend fast and even that not guaranteed. so i don't use it Swipe 8x get 8% or 12x get 12%, max RM120pm. The promo from Jan-Apr 2013, i got max RM120 in all 4 months. Then it was another (more complex spend criteria) promo May -Aug 2013, i got once only once RM100 (max) out of the 2 months i tried. 2012 Promo May-Aug i got 3 x RM100 (max) as i missed out the first month.By the time you saw the advert, it is too late to win even if you join. The promo Sep -Dec 2012, again i missed out the first month (Sep), the other 3 months - i got RM120 max, RM120, and RM98 due to miscalculations - so rather good CB i would say, but too bad so long already still no new CB promo........... QUOTE(joylay83 @ Feb 18 2014, 03:42 PM) WTA if PBB is still offering 0% BT for 6 months? Apply PB-Esso Mobil Visa Gold Credit Card. It's the only PB card with no annual fee. All other cards have conditions: 12 swipes per year, at least one swipe per month. If u were to apply a PBB cc, which 1 will you apply? I think PB card is only useful for balance transfer, so this card may suit you. |

Need help on BT. My mom has outstanding 26k with MBF. in the coming month, we are aimming to use my father EPF, 15k to reduce the amount. The remaining 11k, I wish to do BT as my mom get 2 Public Bank cc, visa and mastercard. If im not mistaken each with 8k limit.
The Public bank is offering BT at 0% interest for 6, 12 and 24 month. My mother repayment power is Rm1.1k per month. Can you guys help me in understanding the BT and which is the suitable term (6/12/24) with my mom paying power. Thx in advance. Add info: I hav seem to confuse BT to a payment scheme that needs you to pay in full. Is it more efficient to BT now as it may take time to get the money from EPF? For 12 month BT, they impose 2% upfront fee. This post has been edited by yugimudo: Feb 26 2014, 08:38 AM |

Despite having two PB cards, your mom would only have a single unified credit limit of RM8000. PB Balance Transfer program only allows you to do BT for up to 80% of your credit limit, in this case RM6400. If your mom is still working, you might want to apply for a limit increase first, before applying for the BT.The Public bank is offering BT at 0% interest for 6, 12 and 24 month. My mom is a traditionalist, will not do anything that is too complex. Her interest alone is rm320. So, I want to do the transfer if it benefiting her. Need some fact to convince her.Woman is such mystery, use cc like no tommorow but lazy to decrease the interest... |
