can anyone help me calculate how much I must pay, if I want to do balance transfer worth RM 2850 to my UOB cc (6 or 12 month terms)? Sorry, I don't know how to calculate it.

I guess you can call up SCb to enquire... It's only for cards < 6 months old.

Received a call from PS about 6 months 0% BT program. She emailed me the form for BT application.

But she also mention about submitting my CC statement for it to approved.

I normally pay promptly for my CC but since now someone offered 0% BT was thinking why not.

So question is:

1. Is CC statement a must? From the form it seems it just request for the amount to be transferred. If I were to submit CC statement, the amount will be less than my total outstanding amount as I always only pay on due date.

eg :

Statement amount : 1500
Outstanding amount : 2000

Can I ask to transfer RM2000 instead or only based on statement amount?

2. Let's say for Maybank2card Amex. How do I fill up the form as the numbers sequence are different.

Thanks in advance as I'm quite inexperienced on this.

only started using this year

well, for every BT amount you do, you get their points

i guess you can redeem GST from there

Do mind to share how many points you were getting from the BT? When I saw the catalogue, around 10k points needed to redeem RM50 GST.

cc statement needed or not depending on bank. eg pbb no need statement. bsn need

if need statement, you can't bt more than the statement amount. less ok

your mbb question i don't really understand what you mean

the most right column for the last digit leave it blank lor. done it multiple times

10/05/13 BT charge appear in PB online
14/05/13 payment completed in credit card statement
