QUOTE(MR_alien @ Mar 24 2012, 05:27 PM) is this why proton car no power if your fuel is below half tank? and its noticeable...me(saga BLM) and my friend who drives persona also say like that QUOTE(mutt @ Mar 24 2012, 05:34 PM) Yes, experienced that on savvy and waja, but didnt really notice on persona as the fuel level is always below half tankQUOTE(zeone @ Mar 24 2012, 07:00 PM) And the reason is ....?? maybe the pump is not powerful enough that the pressure from full tank improve the fuel flow with the pressure it has.Only possible reason me can think of is the lower pressure in the fuel inside the tank caused by lower level of fuel left. Fuel pump unable to function to optimum level due2 lower pressure...?? Dunno really... Anyone?? |

QUOTE(mat79 @ Mar 26 2012, 09:52 AM) erm, the term keyless entry actually has a broad meaning. Using alarm already known as keyless coz u need to push button to unlock, not using key. So,it keyless. Many types of keyless entry couple with start stop button. Its kinda cool having keyless system as forte n etc. But for p3,its keyless is kinda diff. Yup, still need to slot the key fob, not the key to mobilize the car, then u can see at smart info display, the unlock key picturegram, then push the start button once to turn it on, push second time to start the car. something like orang putih car lah, Volvo, passat CC all using this technique.Any type of keyless n start stop button has pros n cons. Still agree that used in forte is cool. |

QUOTE(MR_alien @ Mar 26 2012, 12:34 PM) forte's owner complain abt its push start sometime have problem That is already breaking the tradition. All Proton in house car have PM during the launch event. The management really want PM to launch their cars. and its not the pushstart's problem...its the brake switch that causes it to have problem Added on March 26, 2012, 12:38 pm they no need to break tradition...they can just simply ask someone else to do the launching if 6th april cannot thn have to wait till after election already...its too close and he certainly dn't have time just ask someone else |

QUOTE(MR_alien @ Mar 26 2012, 12:34 PM) forte's owner complain abt its push start sometime have problem Yupp..that's true. Many Forte owners facing this issue..it's the brake switch that fails the ignition as we need to press the brake pedal + push the start button to start the car. When the brake switch failed (malfunction), the car cannot detect that the brake pedal is being pressed, hence the car will not start. This issue is easily solved by the SC anyway. & if the brake switch did fail for whatever reason, there's still an alternative way to start the car without pressing the brake pedal..it's just a simple 2-step procedure. Treat this procedure as a fail safe mechanism when the standard starting procedure is failed..cool huh! and its not the pushstart's problem...its the brake switch that causes it to have problem This post has been edited by izputra: Mar 26 2012, 02:38 PM |
