so it has push start engine but no keyless entry? funny, weird. mean you still got to take the key out to unlock the car. sad sad. why got this not that. half hearted design.

QUOTE(mat79 @ Mar 26 2012, 09:52 AM) erm, the term keyless entry actually has a broad meaning. Using alarm already known as keyless coz u need to push button to unlock, not using key. So,it keyless. Many types of keyless entry couple with start stop button. Its kinda cool having keyless system as forte n etc. But for p3,its keyless is kinda diff. Yup, still need to slot the key fob, not the key to mobilize the car, then u can see at smart info display, the unlock key picturegram, then push the start button once to turn it on, push second time to start the car. something like orang putih car lah, Volvo, passat CC all using this technique.Any type of keyless n start stop button has pros n cons. Still agree that used in forte is cool. |

QUOTE(izputra @ Mar 26 2012, 05:40 PM) How i wish Proton Preve got this improvement for its smartkey system..the car will stop by itself if it sense the absent of smartkey in the car. Forte do not have this features for sure..if u start the car (Forte) & somehow leave the car unlock, someone else can just went into the car & drive it as far as he want it (though the smartkey is with u), as long as he did not stop the engine what you need is a smart system like die hard 4.0 where you can remotely start and stop a car. Road Assist, unlike our useless AAM |

QUOTE(izputra @ Mar 26 2012, 02:32 PM) I'm owning the Forte 2.0SX for 2 years..that's why i can describe it features in such details..hehe. maybe later you will exchange the P3 with your wife, cause u will like the power, looking at the spec sheet i am very very sure the torgue haha, will be smoothie ride with the CVT transmission. Now, already booked the premium P3 for my wife..giving another chance to Proton to prove itself with it new global car..hope this P3 will not disappoint me Added on March 26, 2012, 8:01 pm QUOTE(MR_alien @ Mar 26 2012, 07:14 PM) there are 2 ways to look at it...the good way or the bad way why would it be a problem for proton but not a problem for toyota? i dont get it?for customer like us...we want to upgrade the engine's performance so when proton upgrade to CVT, for us..its bad cuz we can't touch any performance mod but for proton, its a good thing, they resolve the underpower, high FC and slow pickup problem since they can't adjust the gear ratios of their 4AT so it depends on how u look at it for me...its good and that CFE is more than enough already....turbo also added for u..and it kicks in @2-4k RPM somemore..what else needed to be mod Added on March 26, 2012, 7:17 pm of course proton can do that but when it broke down...many owners are gonna come here and bash why its so expensive to replace cool is 1 thing...later broke down and cost 2k to replace...thats when it hurts no problem if its toyota...if proton thn big problem This post has been edited by sonyman: Mar 26 2012, 08:01 PM |
