Anyone knows if Preve has rear air-cond blower/vents? Would be very practical considering our climate.

That's what I think too. Just wishful thinking since Proton wants to imitate Contis, many C-segments got rear air-con eg. Jetta, 308, C4. Would be a good selling point for some people.

why would u need rear aircon since proton aircon is so powerful it can blow until the back
just the vent need to adjust nicely
but got is better

If got rear blower meaning dual-zone climate control. Sometimes driver & front want less cold but rear passengers want colder, so can set fan speed separately. Rear passengers also have own control, no need to ask driver to "can you turn up/down the air-cond please".

^^Yeah, I need to digest this too. I've tested the 508's keyless entry & start stop system and find it quite cool. Never need to get keys out of pocket. So how's the Forte's?

Torque figures about right but HP is around 170hp. High torque due to turbo diesel.

I think for a passenger car, 150-180hp is more than enough for spirited driving. Very high torque (> 300nm) at low rpm more useful for heavy cars eg. MPV, lorries. Ok, I'm capt. obvious.

Anyway, for a c-segment, I feel the Jetta has the most perfect hp/torque figure.

I still think rear air-cond is useful. In situation when rear passengers want cold air but front passengers do not. That's why some C-segments have it eg. Jetta, 308, a nice to have luxury. In the extreme case eg. Grand Picasso, all 3 passenger + driver have their own individual temperature and blower control. They call it 4-zone climate control.

not true. try asking most of the leather-seat car owners. unless they use 'fake leather' or pvc or paria grade leather.

I don't own cars with high quality leather car seats but I'm using high quality leather slippers (cost me RM200). I can put them on straight away even after leaving it exposed under direct sun for few hours. Not hot, no problem. Valid analogy or not?
