and inconsistent start from the push start as well...need to wait a long time

Have to place the key near to the push start button or place it in the key holder then only can start the engine.

Well I hope it's not like the Forte one

^^Yeah, I need to digest this too. I've tested the 508's keyless entry & start stop system and find it quite cool. Never need to get keys out of pocket. So how's the Forte's?

forte's owner complain abt its push start sometime have problem
and its not the pushstart's problem...its the brake switch that causes it to have problem

thn i think thats why proton gone for the key
insert key is way easier plus more secure...only the key owner can start it
once the car detects the key + immobilizer...thn can push start

i think a key is still the best
cuz not only for the engine
its for the door as well...fail safe
if the alarm doesn't work, the key will still work...theres no keyhole on the door but if not wrong, there is but its hidden behind the side of the door handle(theres a logo of a "key" there")
and a better way since they know forte's problem...instead later ppl bash proton say same problem with forte...thn they use a better easier way...which is the key

maybe later you will exchange the P3 with your wife, cause u will like the power, looking at the spec sheet i am very very sure the torgue haha, will be smoothie ride with the CVT transmission.

he...he...i'm not insider by the way. The question is, how fast u want to drive the car?
Example, in exora bold cfe, with nearly 1.5 tonne body, less aerodynamic than p3. Cfe already can launch it at speed beyond 200kmh. If beyond 200kmh is not enough, then, i think this car will not suit u. Talking about hp numbers, yes, the bigger, the better, but, let say, in the same car, same cc engine, one is 100hp, another one is 120hp, how much that 20hp translate to kmh? Just around 5-10kmh only. Back to the question, how fast the better hp car achieve the speed?

A common mass production car is not built for speed. It is more on usable power. For even 1.6 turbo(except race prepared car), speeding beyond 180kmh is a stress n it takes time to achieve speed beyond 200kmh.

Safe to say that based on info i gathered from prtn, speeding to 180kmh is effortless for a 1.6 car, even comparable with many 2.0 na cars.

As i mentioned above, if u r constantly drive beyond 180kmh, need speed more than 200kmh everytime u hit the fast lane, the car is not for u. But if U just need to speed beyond 180kmh only when it needed, or just for fun once a while, then, it will be rewarding.

Erm. No. It's sort of a company car So the loan will be paid for by the company. Wondering how the dynamics work though...

Anyways, I didn't know that the SA could do that. Quite interesting. I guess I'll just ask our branch lor if that's the case True about the price. A bit hard to find out the correct interest rate
