Use kies then. Connect your phone through usb. If this is the first time you use kies to update, your update should fail for the first time. Unplug your phone, let it restart then connect again. Run the update again. It should work. For the first time, it will stuck there, not moving at all. And your phone shows "downloading" or something like that nod.gif Just do it the second time wink.gif

Today I experienced 1st phone freeze since updated to latest fw. I was using google map and latitude. had to take out the battery. But few days before that the phone become hot (40 c) without apparent reason. it was on idle mode. Currently it's running ok, got some lag if I kept switching between apps (fb and internet).

laugh.gif Dude, don't worry about rooting. You may think it's hard, it will damage your phone but actually, it did nothing but granting you more access... Believe me, root it  thumbup.gif I did quite a lot of survey before rooting but I find it unnecessary now. After each update from samsung, I always root it again right after I update. I even keep the file to root in my phone  laugh.gif Just in case I need it  icon_rolleyes.gif
After update, root is gone. I root it, run supercharger again, set the gps.conf file again  laugh.gif

hey guys.. all these while i absolutely have no prob with my SGW. but lately, when the battery reach below 30% (and the warning pops up) these 2 things happen automatically :
1) the screen will go max brightness
2) the screen time out will set to 10 minutes (max)

anybody got this prob? i don't mind resetting the screen brightness n timeout for the 1st 2 months but now it's getting on my nerves.. grrr. any solution? i never root & using stock rom. DXLM3/Baseband DXLM2

Try checking your power saving mode setting.. it could be the root of your problem smile.gif

Yeah, occasionally, it happened to me too. Onavo app that I'm using currently detect 55% data usage but digi said 75%. hmmm which one is correct.
