Edit: Oops... It's TIOMAP4460 vs 4430. Former designed to run stable at 1.5, uced to 1.2 on GNex while 4430 designed for 1.2GHz, higher clocked GPU on 4460 too (384 vs 304). That makes the difference
Reading data from ti website says one can handle 1080p stereoscopic while the other 720p
One can handle 5MP Stereo camera(3D), the other one got 12MP

Papago which version? X5? I only used X5, seriously it just takes forever to lock. Not sure why. I normally give the gps lock using GPS status first before I open up X5 or SYGIC. If it's X5, take note that the voice won't work on W. The too-old-software not supported fully by the newer W. Not sure what causes the problem though. I tried papago M9, the chinese version. Not fully compatible. The screen must be in portrait instead of landscape. Need to set in the option to keep it in portrait mode.

Paiseh... me not sifu. My phone no problem locking. Even can lock at the balcony of my condo unit. But yes, sometimes the problem you mentioned does happened i.e. lots of satellites but it won't lock.

Mine can stand one day on full wifi + an hour of data outside (go out makan twice a day). Overnight 8 hours idle drain only about 4~5%. 7 at most.

But if 5 hours screen on, keep surfing, then possible. Ya, our phone is small, screen is small but battery also smaller compared to other phone. With other phones, I believe you'll get about the same result too, won't be a big difference depending on battery capacity and screen size. Screen and data is the most battery consuming aspects in my opinion (means 'I THINK SO') Normally I use whole day, screen on is about 3 hours until my next recharge. So if you're looking at 5 hours straight web surfing, keep touch here and there, confirm will die before 5 hours. You can't compare this to tablets (Whether you are or you ain't, just sharing xD). Normally tablet has really large battery, like the 800mAH in Tab 10.1, that's massive capacity enough for it to last 10 hours surfing. I don't think phone can last that long. Never really surf 5 hours straight. I rather do that with my laptop. Never have another phone to test too. This is my first and only android *But I think 5 hours non-stop, not many phone can really do that *

That's the problem. Don't expect it to go full on for 5 hours. 1700mAH? Will that makes much difference? Third party usually not that efficient so I doubt it makes much difference Just my 0.02, no specific sources~

Coz the update is quite glitchy. The first attempt, it will sort of like "install" the driver for the phone, requires a restart of laptop then the phone will get disconnected. Restart your laptop and do it again. This process got a bit of risk in it coz it's like being disconnected half way through. But so far no one complaint on bricking their phone or anything by doing so. If everything messed up, you got to find samsung to settle it But i think it won't

Edit: After update it'll still be 2.3.6. The build number is different though. The newest build is DXLC

My W sometimes will not charge till full but give me battery full notification Not always, once in a blue moon. So ytd charged till 83%, decided to use it to watch PPS. Then drainnnnnnn all the way to 5%, charge it back to 100%. Thus the 'V' curve

It's stated that, it's Alpha version and states what hardware are not working... Camera is one of them. It's not software problem but a driver issue. They don't have the appropriate driver for the camera. It's like your computer. If you got a printer, you got the software, but you don't install the driver for the printer, how do the software communicate with your computer and your computer communicate with the printer? Erm... for first question, normal user won't let it idle like that without touching it. In my usage, idle for 8 hours, sleeping, with wifi on, flight mode off, 100%->96% with wifi off, sometimes 96% sometimes 99%, not sure what's happening in background causing the difference but I don't care... It's just merely 3% difference

Never try this, this ain't mean for recording/camera pun. It's just not up to standard. But surfing wise, normally my battery deplete with just 2 hours~3hours screen on time. Sometimes data sometimes wifi. Anyway, also not something did by normal user. The camera is still fine but the recording, it does not auto focus, cannot choose in focus area, it ain't good for movie recording. What it has is just 720p, that's all
