QUOTE(AlexLai @ Jun 25 2012, 01:37 AM) Full time on as in interactive toggling with Juice Defender Ultimate. Technically the data is on standby until an app needs it and I refresh my Twitter feeds every 15 minutes. Maybe "full time on" is a bit misleading. Juice defender will 'turn off' Data. It's not standby. Standy IMO means the HSDPA/EDGE/whatever icon is there, just the upload and download icon are greyed out. |

QUOTE(AlexLai @ Jun 25 2012, 02:32 PM) The icon isn't there until a certain app needs to use it so I kinda consider it standby since it reconnects on demand. The icon isn't there means the same as switching it off. It's Juice Defender that helps you toggle it on and off. Not suitable for me because it's too slow. I prefer doing it manually. |

QUOTE(cloudwan @ Jun 27 2012, 11:13 AM) It depends, if ur using the Go Launcher, yup, IMO the launcher itself its heavy & its widgets just the same.. just my 2 cents lah.. The heaviest RAM usage launcher is not Go launcher but is TWLauncher based on my observation. I might be wrong though.I've tested quite a few launchers b4, to me Go launcher is one of heaviest ram usage launcher for W.. |

You can try Sun Global. I never use their battery on my previous W or Nexus but on my Nokia N82. Their battery is normally larger than ori and no extra cover needed. I ever asked for W/S2/Nexus, price is at RM45 lowest in lowyat. Forget which seller d. You go and explore yourselves. Some offer RM60. My nokia battery so far so good. Much larger than ori (N82 ori 1050mAh Sunglobal 1800mAh

QUOTE(lawtm @ Jul 28 2012, 12:15 PM) Connect via USB to copy files?First option, you install Samsung Kies. This method, you can use extra features in Samsung Kies. Second option, Enable USB Debugging under Application-->Development (Something like this. I don't have a W anymore. Can't check). Then just connect to PC. There will be a notification (pull down the notification bar) saying that you're connected to bla bla bla. Press it then press Connect USB Storage bla bla bla. Then you can use it like a pendrive. |

QUOTE(AlexLai @ Aug 19 2012, 02:34 PM) You have Compulsive Over-flashing Disorder Got few times is mistake. My W was only flashed 4-5 times where as my S III had it 8 times switching to and from ROMs. The first custom rom I flashed is just AOSP Jelly Bean rooted deodexed. That one flashed after unlocking bootloader so the phone is totally clean. No problem at all. After that... Going to AOKP ROMs... First time, forget wipe cache and dalvik first then straight flash After first boot, found problem, reflash 2~ 3 times and flashed few gapps still failed. No choice, nandroid backward then redo everything in the correct manner. Then got one or two times is downloaded zip not complete or corrupted I think just fine la flashing like that since it's the updates that's keep coming. No choice but to flash it |

QUOTE(bambee_188 @ Nov 19 2012, 11:10 AM) I think u might the phone be4. What you mean... To fix it , take a hair dryer than blow it toward the screen. After a while the gum of the screen will be softer than ulift the part of the screen. Take a tape . Tape of the glass. Added on November 19, 2012, 11:14 amLet me teach about battery , Nowadays all the smart ohone heats up quickly , The only solution install battery watch , If ur batt temp more than 37' Dont charge ur phone , Try to play inside a cool room like hotel or malls. I been doing this for 2 yrs so far my batt lasted more than 1 yrs. Plus never charged ur android phone up to 100%. as for GB , once it reach 99 %. It take a while to reach 100% so not worth to charge it to 100% 'Not worth' to charge it to 100% You charge it till 100%, it has more charges inside, phone last a little longer. No problem right? |

QUOTE(bambee_188 @ Nov 22 2012, 02:49 PM) Ok look ! as for samsung w with GB firmware , it takes 1-2 min to increase 1% of battery , I long abandoned Galaxy W and moved to the darker Galaxy Nexus side so if battery at 1% percent it takes atleast 1 hour to 2 hour to get 100% , as u can see once it reach to 99% it take a long time to get to 100% like 25 min , after u unplug the charger it will be 99% back again , so it not worth to charge till 100% . Get it ? try out urself. Yea... It will drop directly to 99% and it charges slowly after 90%(all phone behave like that) But if you read the voltage reading, it'll be charged to 4.2V. You try to charge to 99%, it's just close but not exactly 4.2V It's your choice |
