Hmm...try this. Do a full wipe, use cleaning script and redown first before flash Siyah again.

Now see if this works. Sometime is caused by kernel didn't download properly etc etc. God knows.... cool2.gif

Will wait for the next release before I try again. Thanks anyway.

Mine is working.

R u sure ? I tested it for 2 days no push mail comes in. Unless I manually open the gmail app and refresh it.
For me push mail is push mail when the email is immediately received by the phone the moment the sender sends you. My job of line requires me to immediately attend my emails.

For now im back to CR v6.

Guys please test push mail for me on ICS stock or custom ROM will do.

Err, anyway this is what happens, I on WIFI, then I do some other things, after less than a minute, suddenly when I have mail it will appear in my notification bar, and then I click on it to read my mails, using Gmail..
Sorry, I am not sure if it is what you meant...

I would say push email on Android is slower than BB but certainly, should receive within the first few minutes of sending. If not something is wrong. The time I use ICS, email doesn't seem to work well. Like hang lol. Need to refresh baru ok....

Then you are not sure what you are talking about. When I explain my necessity to have push mail and its indispensable for the line of job I am in. Which means I take my emails seriously and my device is hooked to a data plan for the mails to be pushed to my phone the moment it arrives to my gmail inbox.

So much of your wifi and within less a minute your emails comes in doh.gif

So much of all your A's scored in your A levels when simple task/requirement cannot be replenished with a good input. sweat.gif

Use cf root kernel 5.4. It fixes the sdcard issue. Other kernel need to unmount sd card before restore.

Actually I've noticed that ICS have alot of partial wakelocks, as because last time when I was in GB, there were no wakelocks, so my battery life could exceed a day or two..

if you really need push email badly, just stick to GB ROM until they fix all the bugs with ICS rom..its not worth it to risk your job for the sake of ICS. cheers!!

i'm using cerberus, it's worth every penny.  if someone changes the sim card, it'll sms your backup phone about it and also the location of the phone.  almost all of it's features like ringing the phone remotely works, i have yet to test it's major features like wiping the phone and see whether it still works or not.
*
yeah.. nice.
I like the feature, whereby if thieve failed to unlock screen 3 times, it will take picture and send to the rightful owner email smile.gif
