i'm using the batista ROM ICS v0.3. i'm still searching for a better weather widget. any one got any suggestion?

i've been using the batista ICS 0.3 and i found out that google navigation didn't work as it did with GB version. last time i used the GB version, it will navigate and works as normal GPS.

but this time, it will always says that the maps are not available although i search the route first thru google maps. it was really a painful situation coz my papago X5 cannot detect certain location.

do you guys have this issue in any ICS build?

i tried power+volume down but it didn't work on my batista.

only power+home button works for taking screenshots.

foxhound ics got some bugs with 3rd party sms apps, causing duplicates of sms.still waiting the team to release the latest version with LP7 base!!

foxhound ICS v0.3 works ok for me. but now they are running on version 0.5, which have some bugs with duplicates sms (known bug for lpq base for ICS) etc.

you can wait a little longer until the developer release a stable lp7 base.

CM9 with ICS still not stable e?hmmm...it seems like all ics release still at its initial stage which have many bug issues...need to wait for a while before flashing another ics rom..

what apps did you use to make the back up? if its titanium back up, it should be easy to reload all of your apps.

it should be fine as long as you load your apps only.

you are trying to load your apps from previous rom into your new ics rom right?

what GB rom did you use before?

what messaging mate? enlighten us with screenshots.

to reload apps from previous rom, its safer and easier to use titanium back up. it has an easy interface to use.

one word of advice for making back up; ensure that you perform back up for user apps with data only.

try not to mix it with system data coz it might have conflict with your new rom if you restore both user apps and system data.

so you are using a 3rd party sms apps right? may be the latest ics base lp7 still got some conflicts with 3rd party sms apps.

or you can try remove the apps and reinstall it from the market from scratch and see how it goes.

i suppose its best to perform a full wipe when we wanna flash a new rom. if not, it will definitely cause a problem.

i've checked on the market, the apps should be ok with ICS coz the min requirement is android 1.6 and above.

yup, from each rom thread that i read, the developers informed that they will only entertain bug reports if we install their rom according to their instructions; full wipe is a must.

Hi mate.may be your company email server enable some sort of security filter or some thing that will not allow any unknown source to get data from it. Might try and ask your IT guys about it. My company only allow blackberry to receive emails thru exchange active sync..
