Wired when ppl find a lot of bugs. Mine haven't got any FC yet. Maybe coz I use Apex/Nova launcher and not TW. Battery icons is working except while charging no blinking. Lockscreen also no problem and everything as smooth as GNex. We cannot compare GB with ICS. :-P
We compare ICS with ICS and I find ICS on stock S2 (without TW) is as good as ICS on stock GNex. But then again I hate ICS so maybe my observation is a bit bias.
One thing for sure, you don't need to buy GNex just to get ICS. Our S2 can deliver the same thing except NFC and early firmware updates.
So..who want to buy my GNex..!?? ~~LOL~~

I think the bugs came from theming and using aosp apps to replace those on stock rom. Thats why i want to try out stock rom and see.

Looks like JKay and vertumus are on LPQ. Gonna wait before trying out ICS

i also get this problem when i upgrade to ICS. i used go sms, then change to handcent. still same problem. send 1 time but actually the phone send 2 sms. no problem if use stock sms software but the stock sux and laggy.
i even renamed the stock sms app. still same problem.

Sup guys, long time no see.

Just flashed ICS 4.0.3 XXLPQ last night.
What I can say about this firmware is it is extremely hideous.
The scrolling is terrible, touch responsiveness is awful.
UI transitions isn't as smooth as in Gingerbread and the UI (TW) hasn't changed much so you can't really tell it's ICS until you head to the settings.

The Face Unlock is working fine though.
Tested for like 7 hours, no crash whatsoever, just the UI is bothering me.

Oh and some say restart(s) will fix the touch responsiveness issue, tried, doesn't improve.

Agreed, the scrolling was not that smooth..
I guess I wanna flash back to GB.

Does your battery icon goes blinking when it charging. Mine didn't blinking while charging, just charge quietly like a retarded kid. Lucky got charging sign (sort of lightning). ~~LOL~~

does noone else have problem with double sms sending when using go sms/hancent on latest ics?

Yeah, mine too doesn't blink, first I thought it was not charging, omg why ICS like that?

I'll keep using this until newer versions of ICS firmware rolls out. Then I'll upgrade.

Same here, I just keep an eye on the battery.
Walao eh is this really the final build of ICS for S2? Still looks like in beta or alpha stage by looking at the firmware.

Use Apex or Nova launcher instead of TW and you'll get much better UI transitions. And it will look and feel like AOSP ICS. :-)
