1. Go to recovery
2. Flash Abyss 3.9 kernel (or an Abyss kernel with NO touch redpill recovery)
3. Reboot recovery
4. Do what you want (nandroid, flash a zip, restore)
5. Flash back CF_LP1_KERNEL.zip (CWM flashable) / Gaps 7.1
6. Reboot

but it stuck at startup samsung logo there..
Did i miss any step?
in order to solve it, i have to flash back midnote 2.0 again..

Steps are correct ; actual no need to flash gapps 7.1 again if you have flash it earlier
Check whether your downloaded file is corrupted - can you successfully unzip it

i think i will re-download all the files again.. then retry.. is the usb mass storage mount works in this add on?

I used all the Sp before.. best is crystal clear.. don't use diamond or anti glare, mattte etc.. spoil the beautiful screen of SGN...

Midnote or criskelo... I'm using criskelo's rom... very stable.. will try midnote 2.1 when it is posted.. hopefully soon...

guys, i'm current looking at this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997

and seems that my galaxy note with N7000DXKL2 baseband version is considering directly rootable (correct me if i'm wrong)...so i can just somehow root my g.note then install titanium backup free version and backup all my stuff and most important games app and data....am i correct??

so how can i root my phone without flashing or in other word format?
