The phone 16 GB is divided into 3 portions :

1. A hidden 2 GB partition where your apps are installed
2. The 11 GB viewable partition where you can see it with any file manager - this is where your data ( eg games data, dictionary data, gps data , your music, video, audio and other files ) are stored
3. The other 3 GB is takenup by the phone system

No problems at all installing apk files
If you are using TB to restore at preferences select restore to internal memory as some apps if default will install to ext sd card will fail to be restore or even installed separately
However this rom I took off after 2 hours as just like other aopk, aosp ICS roms ( imilka, jamie ), the operating temperatures are much higher than midnote, criskelo ICS roms - the temperatures similar to GB builds

You can still recieve OTA official updates even with phone rooted. If your current firmware is KL* and above , you need to downgrade first , root and have CWM installed than upgrade it back to the official rom or upgrade to any other cook rom. refer my guide :

These could be due to these apps will install directly on ext sdcard which at present you cannot do it on these aopk roms

Yes I flash only the MIDNOTE2.0_ADD2_VARIE.zip
You need to first flash abyss 3.9 and use its recovery to flash this ADDON zip
After that flash back CF_LP1_KERNEL.zip than only reboot phone

When successful, you will see dialer change to as follows:

Steps are correct ; actual no need to flash gapps 7.1 again if you have flash it earlier
Check whether your downloaded file is corrupted - can you successfully unzip it

tested midnote v2.1 ics download from his italian website. not advisable as too many bugs esp at settings n freeze quite common. a major difference from his v2.0 rom

This is already the latest official update for msian sets. If you want a higher level version, you can try LB1 , LB2 or even LC1 or LC2 ( mainly Europe but I noted there ids now a LC2 for Spore )
If your phone is not rooted , use ODIN in PC to flash these versions

You can flash most firmwares using CWM recovery . Only those firmwares after unzipped that are in tar format you can use mobile odin to flash

You should sync your MAC contacts and calendars with your Google Gmail. In your MAC set this up under preferences/accounts
Everytime you update your MAC, your GMail contacts , calendar will be updated and similarly your phone gets updated. It is so much easier and faster than using KIES which is a horrible piece of shitty software

My impressions of Midnote 2.1 ICS rom :

1. Not much better than v2.0. Infact I find this updated version brings in additional freezes once a while which rarely occurs in v2.0
2. FC on Android and samsung keyboard - no big issue as I don't use these and I just delete it and replaced it with smart keyboard pro
3. Surprisingly the developer provides a cracked version of Sygic ; I tested it it freezes slightly and does not work well. I deleted it and replaced it with my own licensed copy - works perfect without any freezing issues
4. Video cam cannot work unlike in ver 2.0 which works; I replace it with free app videocam illusion - works perfectly well now
5. Developer claims no SOD but i faced my first SOD within first half hour after reinstall back all my apps . No SOD so far past 3 hours
6. I installed his provided gapps v7.1 - dialer names and photos shows up well on all calls recieved

So I would say test it if you need the latest. If you do not wish you don't lose anything - ver 2.0 is better and more stable I'd say
And if you wish to install it, follow his instructions STRICTLY esp you must start fresh from a GB build

Last thing that I forget to mention on Midnote v2.1 ICS rom - now rebooting needs to go through the old process of " Android is upgrading...." - for me it takes up to 3 mins to reboot !!!

Sure it can work on MacOSX 10.7.2 - I use it daily to sync my contacts n calendars. Mine is infact now on 10.7.3

Manually sync it by tapping the "recycle" logo at the top of your Mac taskbar

Did you select sync at your :

Address Book /Preferences/Accounts/Tick synchronize with google and key in your email/password
iCal /Preferences/Account Info/Select Enable this account ( your gmail account)

It sure can work - have been syncing from my Mac since day one I started using Android more than 2 years ago

Don't even bother to touch or be concerned about your CSC version ; leave it alone
It does not affect your phone performance at all
You can use any region specific or multi region CSC - doesn't matter
