Cant play your video, Well if extra buffles not to slow down water is actually to direct the water flow from top to btm then go top again VICE versa..so that bio media gets full contact with the water.

Yes you should add if your going to full wet BIO media in your sump.

Currently on a 4x2x2 tank. I'll wait till it get 20-22 inch first before i'll moving her to a new tank. No rush at the moment she's just 16 inch
As for tanning light, i'm using 2 unit of aro-10 to "grill" her.

What I observed, placing it on top front & back, you'll get tanned back and help it to cross. Also Lvl 5 ring color deeper and color gradually get less intense as it goes down to lvl 2. (been doing that for the past 5 month)
Now I'm going for it's side, placing one at top and another at mid section, so i think there no right or wrong lamp placement.

Hello aro lover, i just bought 4ft standard tank, 4ft L, 1.5 W, 1.5ft D, is it enough for 1 arowana for long term keeping? Will it outgrown the tank in the future?

if its Asian arowana - meaning Malaysia golden 4x2x2ft is recommended at least you can use it for 2-5 years before upgrading. The widht is important 1.5ft would last roughly 1 year plus only after that your fish wont be able to turn nicely. Just my opinion. Happy fish keeping. For silver arowana minimum 6ft x 2.5ft those fellows can grow huge.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but are there any reputable arowana breeders/sellers within the Petaling Jaya area? I don't want to buy from regular non-specialist fish stores because of the lack of proper care they provide for their arowanas, who knows how many years some have been there developing chronic illnesses.
