guys i just called PNB. Apparently not that easy to get RM400K asb loan. The staff said must be those who started investing since 1980s and have accumulated RM400K in asb account. Fresh money RM400k also cannot. damn!!!!

How long will it take for ASNB to process my investment through Maybank2u.com?It will takes about 10 working days or less to refund the money to you if cannot get. Investments that have been successfully received will be processed on the same day and investors can update their ASB/AS1M account book the following working day (based on Federal Territory working days). http://www.maybank2u.com.my/mbb_info/m2u/p...FINV-Investment |

Fresh money RM400k also cannot. damn!!!! this has nothing to do with whether u start investing around 80s. The limit of ASB has always been 200K, the limit for an individual can only increase through the years by reinvesting the dividends, after u have reached 200K, u are no longer allowed to put in fresh funds ,but PNB allow the dividend to be re-invested and accumulate throughout the years & automatically increasing your ASB limit. As per current interest rate, you would need to have 200K invested in ASB around 9 years back to achieve 400K limit. Hope that clarifies everything. This post has been edited by backspace66: Mar 15 2013, 08:57 PM |

PM launches new trust fund inheritance services under ASNB
SERDANG: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak on Sunday launched new trust fund inheritance services under the Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB), which will benefit over 11 million unit holders. The services, Hibah Amanah and Pengisytiharan Amanah, which are for Muslim and non-Muslim holders respectively, is also in conjunction with Permodalan Nasional Berhad's (PNB) 35th anniversary celebration. He said that registration for the two services will be available at all ASNB offices nationwide, starting Monday. "This new service will assist ASNB unit holders in planning their property related to the ASNB trust unit, so that it would be distributed to their descendants in a faster and easier process," said Najib during a dinner at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS). Hibah Amanah is a service in accordance with Syariah that applies the concept of "trust and grant" in the management of properties, while Pengisytiharan Amanah applies the concept of trust, said PNB in a statement. It said under the services, unit trust holders who have passed away will automatically have their assets transferred over to their family or loved ones. To register, holders must be aged 18 and above. Beneficiaries can be Malaysians or foreigners but must be directly related to the holder. Doraemonkiller,It a very simple, invest something that will provide you a steady income distribution preferably yearly or half yearly rather than in liabilities, just make a comparing which one will give a positive net worth, then choose for it. Please bear in mind, you have to understand the investment behind it, or failed to do so, will be a disadvantages. |
