Thanks for sharing your experiences guys. If import tax is all that will happen then I am less worried, I think it's about 10%. Just afraid need to go through all those SIRIM hassles and all that.

It a bonus item for your E3D order, they do that for every hotend order.

The candy can be used as disguise for your purchases. When interrogated by customs, just say got candy inside. tongue.gif

so you actually paying for the candy, the hotend is a free gift tongue.gif, btw anyone here printing PLA on bare aluminium heated bed beside me? I really miss the glossy finish I get from printing on glass bed with PVA glue + water mixture, I just can't get same glossy finish with PLA when printing directly on aluminum bed

and wanted to try flex filament but I don't think it will work with bowden setup blush.gif

not printing ABS just yet smile.gif I cant stand the smell need a proper ventilation for my room, I know can do the acertone bath for ABS but now mainly for PLA, when printed on glass you can get a nice smooth and gloosy finish for bottom layer smile.gif but with bare aluminum does not seem the case

I put a layer of masking tape on the aluminium bed and use diluted PVA to improve the adhesion. Though, mine isn't a heated bed.

Flex filament may be stiff enough for Bowden but not for ninjaflex. The only clue is to run the extrusion speed really really slow to prevent buckling.

Qwikfab but they produce their own blend so it may be a little different from the actual Flexi PLA.

The 3M stuff? Try the ACE brand painters tape (white color), i've had very good success with it.

You probably got used to the smell, same goes for PLA. I missed the sweet caramel like smell of PLA. You will notice it again if you stop printing for a few weeks.
