Expecting more on performance rather than aesthetic stuff. I do admit, some of the stuff on HC is better than on ICS.

But HC on Tab7.7 is killing me. Still laggy and constant hanging that had to force reboot or wait 10mins or longer for it to resolves.

And yet they failed it. outlooking wise, HOX is a winner.

maybe need to try some cook rom...but don't know which is the best...any suggestion??

Hmm...my Tab 7.7 is pretty stable, seldom hang...in fact my SGS2 hangs more often than the tab 7.7 You got play with flashed ROM??

Currently you only get tweaked rom by Steve as a stable daily driver. Use that.

i skipped tweaked rom.. due to less benefit, yet need to do full reset..

so sad not many developer looking into our device.. should we start to learn develop our own ROM? well, i don't think it is too hard to do, isn't it? who willing to donate if i gonna spend sleepless night to develop a ROM?

Desperately to play mc3 on this tab...arghhh....still not compatible....

Ermmm.. i think the tweak rom is quite OK compare to stock rom. It's snappier and more stable.

All I want is cm9. And please, samsung releases it faster so that they can work on the source code. T.T

Using Tweaked 3.0 now. Might revert back to stock. I can say my new Tab performed worse than my Tab10.1 when it was on stock.

Just backup all your apps/support data with Titanium backup before flashing. It just take 10-15 mins to restore back everything. Subsequent updates of the rom no need to wipe data anymore. I wipe only one time - the first time flashing v1.0

I use MX player... but I see most of the data-eating background processes are mostly the preloaded apps (maps, software update, google accounts, pen memo, exchange services...)

just drop by into this thread to scout for some info....in the market for a tablet, initially thought of iPad2 due to its reduced price....then stumble across SGT 7.7 and played around with it....admittedly, not as smooth as iPad, but no complains....:-)

SGT 7.7's advantage for me is the GSM capability, can be my backup phone if my main phone has problems....i have a Digi SIM lying around, so there will be no extra outlay for additional line charges if i wanna use 3G devices....i think the selling point for me is the size....not too big, not too small, just nice....iPad is a little bit too big, becomes cumbersome....

for iPad, it's more for the smoothness and the price is a deal-breaker...sigh, decisions decision! flash is not a priority for me, as i can live without it....maybe i'll just end up getting none of the above....haha!

just posting here to see any of u guys' feedback / comments (if any) that might change my mind....dun wanna create another thread asking "SGT 7,7 or iPad2"...although, i realize by coming into SGT 7.7 thread and asking this question, for sure i'll get some pro-SGT 7.7 answers....haha....

yeah like i'm a dumb if i don't understand what u mean.

you don't have to justify my statement, because its my opinion, and i know Android stuffs quite well, i've been around since the day of HTC HD, i've been experimenting a lot of ROM, and i know what worth or not for me to do. (and i'm not just a fag who just follow trends). compare to all other ROMs on other devices out there, tweaked rom is way behind, in terms of anything. so i say its not worth to flash on, so why do u have a say on that? ah, look at yourself, a newbie just joined a few days ago (or u r the previous blacklisted member with new account), please respect the no. 1 rule in this forum, RESPECT.

MX Player might not able to support hardware accelerated video decoding? I only use MX player for watching RMVB. Other videos will use stock video player.

I got my 7.7 today. then arrrrrrrrrrgggghhh forgot i need to root to get kindle. i have some kindle books that i bought.
If i root it now, how to restore the stock rom back?
