I just checked out the tab7.7 plus and am verrry tempted. Question on the micro SD card. if i'm using an android phone now. can i just move the card from the phone into the tab and my tat will all be accessible? provided i install all my exisitng android apps?

sorry for the dumb question but need to confirm i dun trust those salespeople wat oso can can.
If i dun wanna use the 3g function and dun insert a sim card will the device still work with wifi and the necessary aps?
Reason is i may just want to use my phone when i'm home and then use the calling capabilities of the tab when i'm travelling and not bring my phone along.
So use use the tab with wifi when home and keep my sim card in my phone.

I got my 7.7 today. then arrrrrrrrrrgggghhh forgot i need to root to get kindle. i have some kindle books that i bought.
If i root it now, how to restore the stock rom back?

how? how? kindle not available to Malaysia. I had to root my android phone, use market enabler, mimic US carrier then only can dowload from the market. I guess the other alternative is to find the apk and install.

anyway is there a way to go back to stock after rooting?

aaah no work today. so free to test out my tab.
I looks like the files that the app use cannot be stored on the SC card. Is that right? like kindle books, tasker profiles they can only be accessed if they're stored in main memory right?
Any rule of thumb what i can keep on the SC card and still access on the tab?

Another thing some pictures are failing to load in the gallery. The total picture count for fold will include all pics but when opened the thumbnails just hve a few pictures and the rest are black boxes. Any idea why this is happening and how to fix please?

can anyone help please? Why is it some images are not loading in gallery and quick pic? I tried quick pic as experiment to see if the same problem exists. Some pics load others are just black squares but are counted as part of the number of pictures in the album.

I hv no problem with the pictures on my HTC phone.

Dang my books and zinio magazines have eaten up a chunk of my internal memory. Can i move my Kindle and Zinio folders to the SD card? Looks like the kindle can't find the books in the SD card right?

Haha nola it is mainly the zinio mags.

I had the same debate and decided on the 7.7 mainly cos it will be my entertainment center for browsing, streaming and watching videos. End of day, the larger screen won out. Note screen still not big enough for me to make surfing comfortable. a bit of a struggle and it wasn't that much more real estate compared to my phone.

Hey guys, I have trouble streaming on my tab. it will run and the just stop. can't continue anymore. tried it few times with different videos.
Tried the same vidos on laptop was ok. Youtube like videos.

Anyone get that problem too?
