oops.. sorry i c wrong urs is nov.. goin to enter winter soon. so i guess pretty cold lo.. btw, nov still able to view those golden n red leaves? as i kno most of the festival or activities held for autumn is around sep-oct

Between the T money card or Korean Pass card, which one is better for a traveler in south korea. I will travel for maybe a week time, is it advisable to buy these cards?

can these cards be used in any places in Korea?

T-Money is the only card u need in Seoul..the Korean Pass no need 1.. T-money can use on subway/train and public bus as well..

Depends on luck and weather also..Just dont be botak ok d...

late oct or early nov still have those red yellow leaves... some place maybe botak depends on location.

But still a good time in Seoul, not too cold around 15-20 degrees.

Please dont botak first...i will be there from 08/11 - 16/11...temperature around 15- 20 ?? i thougt around 5 - 15...

should be ok..my friend was there around that time last year after 12 nov.. Nami still looks nice.got sun is quite ok. at nite or early morning, will be colder.

I was there 1-12 nov.. take cold morning MRT with heater on bench..shiok..

ur go early Nov not yet botak gua,after mid of Nov the famous tree in Nami Island botak liaw..
5-15C is the temp u gonna get..but sometimes it gets quite warm around 1-3pm..then start to cool down again.

Me and my family were planning a year-end trip and we thought of Korea as a possible destination.
The probable departure date would be around Christmas (meaning the last week of Dec) and the trip duration would most probably be around 7~8 days.
So I know it's gonna be winter and it's gonna be pretty cold. Two questions come to mind:

1. Is it recommended to go Korea during this period of time if we don't plan on skiing?
2. How cold is it really and is it bearable enough to enjoy the trip?

u mention u n ur family.. it's all young adults or mixture of kids, young adults n senior adults? well, my sis (young adult) went to Korea last yr during xmas time.. she told me tat sometimes it's unbearable n quite troublesome especially whn u wanna take pics. really freezing n u don't feel like wanna stay outdoor n take pic. imagine taking pic wif bulky gloves kekeke.. she need to took off her gloves whenever she wanna take pic. u haf to wear winter clothes, covering ur ears n mouth, etc.. bt anyway, she did enjoy the whole trip cz it's her first time experience winter. quite excited. imho, if u r afraid of cold, better go during autumn or spring season.. during winter, some attractions is close

My family consists of both my parents (45+), 2 siblings (18~20) and myself (20+)
I'm living in Melbourne so I am quite used to cold weather, although nothing as extreme as Korean winters and my sibling is living in Japan so he should be quite used to the winter there.
When you mention attractions being closed, what sort specifically?

ic. so i assume ur parents shouldn't be a prob as well..

i remembered my sis told me n i read b4 on website stated tat some attractions is either closed early or closed. u need to search for more info.. sorry can't help.. cz never been to korea during winter.. haha

Just need some questions answered for those who have travelled to Seoul.

1. Is RM1k enough for 4D3N inclusive of Air Asia flight tickets, accommodation, food and shopping?

2. Are there sakura blossoms in Seoul? Which are the best spots and time of sakura watching?

3. Did you use a travel guide or phrase book to get around?

4. Where to get the best ja jjang myun?
