You can also try Busan Air to go Jeju, I got it for rm160++ a month ago. But most airlines need Korean credit card to book their tickets. (?)
^
Gimpo airport is closest to Seoul. You can take the AREX train to Gimpo airport.

Is it really worth it to travel to Jeju Island?
Well,Is not really abt money issue,Cos dun have much day for tis trip,Last Feb purchase..1st time,Nv take too much info.

if u fly from Gimpo. it'll take about 1 hour to reach Jeju airport.
I think Jeju is a must. there's a reason for it being one of the new 7 wonders of the world.

It takes approx 1hr to get there.
Jeju has amazing views! If not mistaken, its the one of the 7th wonder of nature (or something).
Since you're going for your honeymoon, might as well go Jeju relax relax.
I went there in the spring, it rained whole day and the temp was like <10celcius, with the wind chill was around 1celcius. Make sure you prepare yourself for the bitter cold.
Seongsan Ilchubong, Jusanggeolli rocks and the waterfalls around Seowgipo ain't bad. But beware, some museum are boring... (eg. Glass museum).
Clarified ^^

Will plan plan and go hmm.gif

Added on May 25, 2012, 2:57 pmFor honeymooners better stay longer in Jeju. Jeju also known as honeymoon island after all  tongue.gif  Jeju is beautiful and very leisure. No stress at all driving in Jeju.

Places to go in Jeju

Seongsan Ilchubong Peak (watch sunrise)
Seopjikoji
Jungmun Cliff
Art Trick Museum
Loveland (ahem!! you are on honeymoon mah!  laugh.gif )
Jeju Folk village
Cheongjiyeong Water fall
Mini Land
Yeomiji Botanical Garden

Also, u must drive around the east coastal road. The scenery is so beautiful. I cannot desribe it.

Yes. The choice is yours. If you hire local car with driver/guide, it is only from 0900hrs-1800hrs. After or before the hours mentioned, additional surcharge will be imposed. If you rent a car, you can drive around Jeju anytime you like. The car equip with GPS in English. I think average they charge KRW100,000 for 9 hours usage if you hire local car with driver to drive you around.
*
Em..bt i read fellow forumer mention if u wanna hire a car.
We need to get a permit thing to drive rite smile.gif
Is it really hard or fussy to get one smile.gif

anybody going within 15/9 - 21/9? nway, have anyone here fly to jeju via busan air? initially booked return tix at evening, but later was informed the flight rescheduled to nite..nervous lor..first time flying during nite summore from jeju..hopefully everything will go well..

try to book a taxi driver at jeju, but he not available, then asked the guesthous owner to arrange, for krw120,000 per day.. what u all think?
*
Hie naTea,
Same with you,I'll be going to Jeju on January for a honeymoon smile.gif
Well,For the transportation over there either cater a taxi 1-on-1 to the tourist place...Bt the price i feel are quite exp and restrict,
Cos what i know is after 6pm,The driver will either knock-off or we going to pay OT and is quite pricey...
Btw I'm still tinking to cater a driver or car rental...Just what other forumer mention just apply for international driving permit things via JPJ office for a 1year validity and can drive here and there at Jeju smile.gif
So share with me,If u can get good price for Taxi driver tongue.gif
