Provided the coupon is redeemable for the same thing... Price aside, would you be considering the quality, esp the taste of food? Last time I search in HK openrice website for food in Disneyland HK for reviews. Maybe you could check it out to get more info - prices, taste, which food court/restaurant etc.

I had a look at the site. Though it says "apartment", looks like some of it are similiar to rooms from hostel/guesthouse, like those housed in a commercial building.

Another thing is, are these "apartment" licensed to rent out? Have to be careful, coz the illegal's one does not see to safety rules such as fire precaution..

some sort like ppl buy the apartment but rent it out as "hostel" or "Apartment".
So the kind of environment might be more like apartment with other tenants rather than tourist feel.

Haven't been to Hong Kong since 2004.
And lived there from 2000-02.
So I can't really remember things.

1) Are the sport items there like shoes, apparel cheaper than in Malaysia?

2) Does the factory outlets for Adidas and Nike sell good stuff or outdated and really non-desirable (leftover stock) stuff?

3) Is the weather there now same as Malaysia or a bit cooler?
E.g. is a 30 degree C the same as a 30 degree C as in Malaysia or is it less humid there?

4) Is the expenditure for eating out much more expensive than in Singapore?

hmm..i dn't think so
cuz 1 of the "yau ma tei" one kinda interest me and i went in
and stated there "if security asked, say you're my friend".....not sure abt "license" part but its kinda like i bought a hse and i rent it out under the radar to earn money

for me i think no need arrange itinerary...u just need to write down "how to go" to what place
that includes what transport to use and which direction...to those places that "must" go in HK
thn ask her to go natural(near where go where)
i also going but no...i dn't have itinerary...my paper only stated how to go where and where to eat only
to go where and when, plan when reach there...cuz sometime its unpredictable...time and weather

cheaper but not much. ard 20-30% avg. But more choices esp those special releases.
2) Does the factory outlets for Adidas and Nike sell good stuff or outdated and really non-desirable (leftover stock) stuff?
Usually past season stock will be very much cheaper up to 50%. Its dated but not really leftover. eg 2012 sells 2011 jersey
3) Is the weather there now same as Malaysia or a bit cooler?

Almost same but less humidity though might experience sunburn easier tongue.gif
4) Is the expenditure for eating out much more expensive than in Singapore?

almost the same for me. Unless you go for those fancy restaurants, that I'm not sure. Usual meal will set u back ard HKD20-25.
