Be ready for the Typhoon.  sweat.gif

Last year news
Sept. 29 (Bloomberg) -- Central Hong Kong's streets were emptied as Typhoon Nesat swept gale-force winds and rain into the city. Banks including HSBC Holdings Plc and Standard Chartered Plc closed branches, and Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Ltd. canceled equities and futures trading for the day. The storm felled trees and ripped bamboo scaffolding from buildings, while bus, tram and ferry services were suspended and at least 38 flights were delayed at the airport. (Source: Bloomberg)

Yup, that was just the day before we arrived HK. On our first day there, typhoon signal #1, then became signal #3 over night. During the day, a bit windy and scattered rains. Went to the museum of Coastal Defence, but was restricted to visiting the indoor display only, the outdoor area was cordoned off. On the day we left, seems like was getting worse and it was heavy rain on the way to HKIA. Lucky to be back without flight delayed.

rclxms.gif ppl here so obsessed wif it.. where as those gals in HK, TW, SG look at it as a normal bag jz like Vincci or Charles n Keith standard. one can get tis brand in Europe n USA in a very cheap price where as in Msia d price is mark up so much!! making ppl here feel tat having such bag is branded only.. tongue.gif

imagine u can get a basic longchamp bag in Europe (after conversion around RM180-200++) bt in here can cost around RM400++ sweat.gif

i attach a pic of Wah Kee Snacks @ TST, HK.. food is tempting huh?? tongue.gif

If possible, brands such as LV buy from Europe better since I bought one and it saves me around half of the price in KL.
