ic ic prat and morrison looks nice.. but i would prefer something like 2mins walk to nearest MTR.

thats why i shortlisted Casa Hotel and Metropark mongkok. Both is very near to MTR.

but i always say accommodation very subjective. Some willing to pay more.. some just want a simple bed and nice bathroom.
*
this i agree.

anyway, i do pass by bridal tea house at yau ma tei before when i went for the 4 season claypot rice

from the outlook of the hotel, i won't stay there. it's located in quite a small and dark road (sorta an alley type), and from the outlook it seems old

but well, never look into the rooms before la

I check online and most of the hotel in Hong Kong is above RM1000 per night. So far the cheapest I found was RM600+. Anyone below RM200? Not need to be 3~4 star but definitely not those motel. As long as room is clean and secure.
*
Below 200 is definitely motels , somemore is those cheap one lol

Normal small hotel would be around rm300 and more

In hk now. Not that cold now, sometimes dont even need a jacket.
A bit dissappointed though cause friends' skippinf ngo ping, stating that they have to climb 200 steps cause of cable car maintenance. -.-
*
Huh even with cable car u also need to walk that 200 steps or so to reach the buddha ma

Both cable car and bus will only reach the NP village ma no?

Hahaha same here, my intention is food and shopping but my other half is shopping and sightseeing.

So far i use this openrice app and website. Also some recommendation from northasian from her foodblog.

Basically,

1. BBQ pork/Charsiew = Joy Hing Roasted Meat, Wan chai

2. Wantan mee = Mak's Noodle Central branch

3. Roasted Goose = Yung Kee Central

4. Polo Bun = Kam Wah Cafe. Prince Edward

5. Cha Chan Teng = Mido Cafe YMT, Australia Dairy Co, Jordan.

6. Dessert = Auntie Sweet and Honeymoon

7. Snacks = Fei Jie's Giant Octopus. Mongkok

8. Rice = 4 Season Claypot Rice, YMT

9. Dimsum = Lin Heung Tea House

Still planning whether to go Stanley to eat or not lol.. Might check and see if got those HK style Hot pot and soya bean sticky rice, yau char kwai and cheong fun!!!!!! hhahahaa. still searching..

haha no doubt the char chan teng guy cant wait for u one. when my 1st night there i was having my dinner with my friend, the guy came and order asking what we want, we cant decide and he waited like 20-30 secs standing there then in the end he just left saying no need lah.(mm sai lah)
*
that's the part i don't like about hong kong, everything is so rush.

being rushed to order, being rush to eat, being rush to finish and stand up and pay

i noticed this happened in MOST places, but then it's another different story in their dim sum restaurants (beside tim hou wan of course)

i wanna try lin heung instead of tim ho wan. Limited mornings le.. dont feel like having 2 dim sums.. try one will do.

i worked with one hongkie b4, they might be sometimes rude but very efficient. They are friendly just sometimes like rude and uneducated like that.
*
tim hou wan can go anytime, no need morning le.

well, talking about hong kongnese, i know 1 during my college time, extremely quiet and shy type . talk also very soft hahah
