Thanks for the quick replies....kinda typo there...its actually 5 days Tues-Sat.

Though my Sat flight is on 6pm, don't think got time to go site seeing perhaps some nearby shopping only.

Tuesday reaching there like 11am, what are the things I can do for the whole day?

Maybe Wed - Disneyland

Thurs - Ocean Park / Museum

Friday - ???

Was in HK last May. Nice warm weather, rained in the late afternoon on 2days out of the 7days' stay. Slightly windy at night.

Thanks!! for the recommendations but Friday whole day shopping?

Wouldn't that be too tiring or are there like tons of places to shop?

Sorry for these kind of questions...first time going there not just how is it like there. Is it something like KL where you can walk from Bukit Bintang to Pavillion to Sungai Wang etc.

i dunno where u luv shopping or nt.. depends on personal preferences. as for me, one day shopping for me in HK is nt enough.. lolz

btw, u won't be shopping by non stop walking ma... enjoy shopping while tasting their food as well.. since u r nt wif tours, u r nt rushing..

they haf tons of places to shop cater for diff types level of ppl.. from malls (high end, mid range, low end, specialty) to street/nite market..

well, it's nt like SG Orchard where u will c straight few row of malls.. some places there are a few malls nearby where u can walk jz like Bkt Bintang to Pavillion to Sg Wang.. some malls are nt bt distance nt tat far oso. can b reach via MTR.

Thanks..I may not like shopping but my wife loves it so I think it should occupy for one day.

Where else to look for shopping destinations like luxury shops, things which are cheap to buy in HK since I'm kinda first time going there not sure what things are cheap there...I know G2000 is cheap lor

Your first visit to HK, what would you like to do more - sightseeing or shopping or food hunting?

If you are intereseted in more of sightseeing, then there are still plenty of places of attractions to visit. For eg, The Peak and Madame Tussaud's wax museum is worth visiting too. And that could easily fill up one evening.

Friday - perhaps a visit to Wong Tai Shin temple and Nan Lian Garden in the morning, then go to Shatin New World Plaza for Snoopy World and shopping.

Sat - if no intention to hang around town, then can consider check out hotel after breakfast. If your flight allows early check in and baggage drops, then go to airport directly. After check in , you can take bus to Tung Chung. If early check in not allowed, go to Tung Chung directly and use the luggage storage facility there. Assuming all this by 11a.m, you should still have time to visit the Big Buddha AND/OR shopping at Citygate outlet mall.

Other particular huge shopping malls which are around the town...we don't mind to travel via MRT...

Eg; if someone comes to Malaysia I'll tell them go to huge shopping malls like Pavillion, KLCC etc...and not Damansara ATRIA or AMCORP MALL ...

luxury stuffs u can find in retail shops outside or inside the mall. price is the same jz that one-stop brand-name outlets shop such as ISA n other name (can't recall) do sell luxury stuffs lower thn the retail outlets. bt choices is limited n some is off seasons one. if during sales time, u can get at the retail shop cz it's cheap. HK local brand, usually is cheap such as G2000, Bossini, Giordano, U2 & Baleno bt it's nt luxury

u reserve the hotel bt u dunno the location? sweat.gif u can go shopping nearby Causeway Bay.. ur hotel gt offer complimentary shuttles to Times Square & HKCEC. u can stroll around tat area lo if u wan.. or go further to Central.. if u dunwan in HK island.. can go to Kowloon district
