Hi guys,  the 3 of us will be going to HK in December,

bout 5 days.

Please recommend hotels that are in good location ( 3 girls ),
1  likes to shop ( branded also can )
1 like to drink and eat
myself   would like bit of both + disneyworld or ocean park?

1 day we reserve for macau ( do recommend a hotel )

what other things should we go to?

1 - harbour view
2 - macau
3 - lan kwai fong? ( prefer lounge / bar not clubs )
4 - disneyland/ocean park?
5 - eat at mongkok ( ppl say one )

thanks in advanced!

I think December is peak season in HK. So try not to delay in booking your room.
I got this link from the v2 thread : http://www.allabouthongkong.com/?cat=51
I remember seeing a list there once (either in v1 or v2) but I think northasian futher compiled it in the site.
You can get a list of other attractions from that site too.
Do have a look. smile.gif

thanks for taking the time guys~
my friend also mentioned mongkok is great for food ( anything special that i MUST try? )

budget - hmm cause im not sure what is the price range there.. 4 stars around how much? would prefer a location that is near to everything

Macau - most probably will stay 1 night.....
we are keen on drinks on foods, so please recommend! price is not a matter ? just want to enjoy good food.
as far as i know LKF is very happening, but we are going weekdays and one friend aint the clubbing type,

any particular place there that can still enjoy the vibe but in a low key ?
ocean park or disneyland? it's been a dream to go disneyland of course but dont get ocean park other places right?
THANKS AGAIN! notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif

Maybe try a hotel in Mongkok area that's near to the Subway.

Disneyland or Ocean Park? Do you prefer looking at live animals or cartoony stuffs? I've been to OP when I was as child and I loved it back then. And I went to DL last year and enjoyed it too, ESPECIALLY the firework show at night. rclxms.gif

Looking at OP's website, looks like they have quite a few rides for adults so that's a plus. If you enjoy going on these type of rides, then OP may be the choice for you. DL is more like kiddy stuffs and you walk around and look at all the cutesy stuffs and go 'OMG, so cuuuute! Sooo pretty!' (having said that, I was VERY happy while I was there... laugh.gif )

hi guys. I'm going to disneyland hong kong in March, next year. Where can I get cheap 2-days disney ticket in malaysia?

I miss the MITM travel fare. I went for balik kampung during that time.

no particular, the whole stretch of escalators (and intersection) is full of restaurant, western, jap, french etc
wat u wan... u name it, they got it thumbup.gif
---
in mongkok, at intersection of Fa Yuen and Dundas Street... go to 肥姐小食店 Fei Jie Snacks Shop.
its every easy to spot, as a lot of ppl are queuing for the snack.
ask for the octopus~ drool.gif
---
between ocean park and disneyland, i will choose disney... more fun~
all of the themes are located next to each other, less walking...
and many programs too... all lining up for u, some serve every 15min
note: @disneyland a lot of adult playing their games, so no worry~
---
choose ocean park, if u like PANDA!!! Dolphin!!! and ZOO (underwater) wub.gif
their Extreme park park is better than Disney and more suitable for adult.
mind u, a lot of walking~ uphill downhill circling left right and got lost rclxub.gif
---
Macau... 3stars & below is around HKD500 (RM200) for double bed and locate near Ruins of St. Paul's

Egg tart nth really shout about.... But do try kam Wah polo bun!! Go around 3:15pm, takeaway! It's super crispy and smells damn good...

Hk is not very big, majority of the place can see the harbor so any hotel that has high floors... But bear in mind these are the usual expensive ones. It can be rm900 per night to rm1200...

Disneyland for me 70% are kiddy stuff, only toy story land rides are more thrilling. The rest is just so so... I went the most time in the sourvenir shop than outside lol...

Australia dairy co is a must try, love their scramble egg....

I think if u like harbour view, its better go to
1) Arena of Star, @Tsim Sa Tsui 7:30pm
2) The Peak, Lion Pavilion Lookout on Findley Road. 6:30pm
3) The Peak, Sky Terrace 428 7:30pm
Both place offer Symphony of Light, started on 8pm.
Mind u, the peak is really far for the symphony, not the best place but the aerial view is just magnificent.

If you want condition as nice & tidy at HK with that price is really quite difficult mate...settle for the <Dragon Hostel> in Mongkok, stayed there last year & they have multiple room choices, since you got 3 person going, you can choose the room with 1 single bed & another double decker bed. The main point of this hostel is that its cheap & very near to MTR stations & some local attractions in Mongkok wink.gif
