Hi guys,

I'm planning to visit hong kong next year during CNY period. Do you think shops will be open on the 1st & 2nd day of CNY?

From what i heard is that shopping malls do open during CNY, just want to confirm with you all.

Dun wanna risk going there and got no place to see, shop and eat..

Means you only pay when you get there? Do you need to pay any deposit for your booking?

Saw some backpacks at ladies street but not sure what replicas they were.

If going ladies street u will pass by the sneaker street as well as the famous mongkok electronic street...

Like other forumers said depends stuff, fashion stuff is cheaper but see what brand. Electronics I find more expensive.

Wow that is actually really convenient, we don't need to use the credit card for booking then (I don't have one haha). But have to take so much cash with you when you go there...

One full day, morning try australia dairy co @ Jordan then walk down towards tsim sha tsui for shopping. Harbour view @ tst for branded shopping. Evening avenue of stars + 1881 heritage then. 8pm catch symp of light then head straight to peak. Come down for dessert. Next day head to citygate outlet for cheap out of season stuff then fly back home. 15 mins / hkd60 by cab to Hk airport.

if u dont want to shopping at all, i think the peak, avenue of star, victoria harbour, big buddha (NP 360), take the harbour cruise to watch symphony of light, .. not forgetting disneyland (if you want, coz its kinda small compare to other countries), and also ocean park biggrin.gif

mong kok is not only for shopping, for foods also not bad... biggrin.gif
