For me, it's my genuine interest to learn more about the Universe and Alien Species they created. If that does not interest you, this is probably not your genre of game.

And tell me you didn't play the game as a soldier, because if you did, surely you won't experience the unique combat of ME.

Edit based on your trophies, I can tell you not even recruited a squadmate, so the fun part hasn't really start yet biggrin.gif

Was previously struggling on a decision between PC version and PS3 version, but now after deciding on PS3... Have to make a choice of pre-ordering from official/participating stores (and get those bonuses) or my usual seller doh.gif

Well, 2 days left to make up my mind laugh.gif Definitely going for CE, too bad only R3 available.

Yeah locally can only get R3 copies, the only way to get R1 CE is through Amazon or other online store, though Amazon already sold out on R1 CE

Those merchants who offer $10 promotional discount codes (eg. Amazon, Best Buy) are the very first to go out of stock. I'm pretty sure $79.90 ones by other dealers are still available.

Come to think of it, CE is the obvious choice for them US folks. $59.90 for standard edition, additional $9.90 for DLC... Might as well add $10 for CE whistling.gif

p/s: You got play A4O? brows.gif

*SPOILER ALERT*
IGN: Mass Effect 3 Review in Progress

"It's also worth noting that a few technical issues arise on the PS3 version as soon as you start playing, too. Fairly serious framerate issues plague the opening cinematic on Earth, and while this particular problem clears up as you play further through the game via future cutscenes, these hitches certainly concerned me early on. Likewise, lip-syncing is almost always off and characters sometimes appear stiff and can even flicker in and out of cutscenes when camera angles change. "

Be warned.

Too bad for me the R1 CE from Amazon doesn't have $10 discount code, only the standard edition have it.

Haha been meaning to get A4O but till now haven't get, if it was a full single player game I would have gotten it on release, but it's a co-op and from review it's just not as good as the previous R & C games. Might get it later though when it gets cheaper.

Just the story.
The gameplay is clunky and is not sure whether it wants to be an action game or RPG.
It's literally stuck in the middle.

Hmm... What resolution does ME3 run at (still waiting for my demo to finish downloading)? If it's 1080p maybe can try lowering the resolution to 720p, that usually works for demanding PC games when the hardware can no longer keep up tongue.gif

Any idea if it makes any difference to import characters from ME2 or to play fresh on ME3 without imports?

yes, lots of differences. you get extra money n levels by import i think.
canon shep is more of a renegade character.

Some of the decisions you make in ME2 will have an impact on ME3, otherwise you'll just be following the canon story

Game play is ok but the cutscenes a bit laggy, hopefully they address the issue in the final launch.

Be prepared for the invasion of Galaxy!!

Awesomeness is coming...

My favourite squadmate would be
1. Ashley
2. Tali

I hope they will be pawnage team in ME3...

According to IGN review in progress, the lag in the starting cutscene is still there, but subsequent cutscene doesn't have that problem.

i'll take IGN's review with a pinch of salt. they tend to be a little biased sometimes. tongue.gif
