C.Ronaldo and Messi are definitely one of the top footballer in the world. but both of them failed to shine on the international stage.

Club form wise they are superb but strikers like Ronaldo9 and Klose has manage to prove their class on international level ie World Cup which most people think are they toughest football competition there is ( which I disagree)

Macheda returns to United

Queens Park Rangers' on-loan striker Federico Macheda is expected to miss the rest of the season due to an ankle injury.

Macheda has returned to parent club Manchester United for treatment on the problem after struggling to make an impact at Loftus Road.

The Italian was signed at the start of the January transfer window by former QPR boss Neil Warnock and has been unable to impress under his successor Mark Hughes.

The current QPR manager signed Bobby Zamora and Djibril Cisse before the transfer deadline and that has seen Macheda slip out of the picture in West London.

He made six appearances in all competitions, but had not featured for the Rs since a brief substitute's outing in the 2-2 draw at Aston Villa at the start of February.

The 20-year-old also allegedly criticised Hughes on Twitter earlier this month after he was left out of the 18-man squad for the 1-1 draw with Everton.

Prior to joining QPR on loan, Macheda had featured six times for United this season, but he has yet to build on his stunning start to his Old Trafford career.

Macheda scored decisive goals on his first two appearances for the Red Devils three years ago and will now have to wait until next season for another chance to establish himself.

i think City delegate a task for Vierra to play mind games /make a controversial comments against United / be a spokesperson, then put less pressure / interview /no spotlight to Mancini.

Viera is jealous that Scholes and Giggs are still playing at high level, even though he is a few years younger than them huhu..

If anyone thinks United got all the favorable decisions from refs, he should take a look at these

Penalties conceded at home by existing Premier League teams since August 2006 (teams must have played over 50 games during that time)

Team / Penalties conceded / Games / Penalties per game

Blackburn Rovers 18 110 0.16
Wolverhampton Wanderers 8 53 0.15
Wigan Athletic 16 110 0.15
West Bromwich Albion 7 53 0.13
Sunderland 11 91 0.12
Arsenal 11 110 0.1
Newcastle United 9 91 0.1
Manchester City 10 110 0.09
Stoke City 6 72 0.08
Manchester United 9 110 0.08
Everton 8 110 0.07
Bolton Wanderers 8 110 0.07
Tottenham Hotspur 8 110 0.07
Fulham 8 110 0.07
Liverpool 7 110 0.06
Aston Villa 6 109 0.06
Chelsea 6 110 0.05

But you cannot look at the above stats just on the surface, because most opponents spend much lesser time in United penalty box at OT
