Wow. Quite scary.
Thanks for the story Hico.
Won't buy ASUS anymore next time, until I hear good news about the after service... or IF the laptop is something worth the risk. tongue.gif

Bring it to TTPM. If you have proof that they are willing to refund, but they are dragging their feet, just file at TTPM, just to show them that you mean business.

Asus notebook is nice. But not their after sale service. First time face such problem and long time. If you are not concern abt warranty then is fine. I read frm fb saying his transformer tablet lose when sent for reply. After three month still no news. And only say no blush.gif stock. This user also complain after i made noise in the fb.

Agree on dell after sales service.... Only one complaint on dell, their design sucks...comparing to other brands like asus, acer....

After reading this thread, i might kiss goodbye to my desire asus ultrabook... Going back to acer... sad.gif

i really have high expectation for asus & nearly bought one myself due to the design plus their extended 2 years warranty but after reading some negative comments regarding their after sales support...nehh. As for dell, i do agree that they have a marvelous tech support but its expensive.... so the search continues.... Today i saw something in the forum that make me wanna go to lowyat and look for it.. Msi x460x with 2 years warranty out of the box plus the price is quite resonable as well too...

the problem is the after sale service.. if asus got 1800, but they dragging here and there, it still the same result.. however if the service is good enough, even dun have those service centre in my area, the most longest time should be still less than 1 month.. sigh.. my place dun have samsung service centre, no sony service centre..yet i get back all my device within 1 month or less than 2 weeks.. this depend on their service only cry.gif

asus design is nice.. their notebook also good actually.. so depend on luck..if in 2 yrs time, u never need to face the warranty claim, then asus is a very good choice.. so either bet with ur luck or choose other lo..till now, asus new model like their zenbook series, tablet .. still attract me a lot.. tongue.gif
