correct but suspension IS NOT tuned by lotus........and only the glass, rims and some internal trims is locally made, wipers no idea....(not surprised if they actually supply local made trims to lancer now too...) oh yea, we got this info from inside source too smile.gif

I just changed to Lotus/Proton then haha.

Our Proton boys who worked on the suspension were trained by Lotus so isn't it similar?

actually, some of you very pandai.

talk shit in this thread then ask me close. seriously, if you can't propose a PROPER solution, siam lah.

i drive city. i say city is good. but i also say i want an upgrade.

you say your inspira good. then good for you lah. u don't want an upgrade, that's your problem la smile.gif

everyone loves what they have but at some point they might want something more.

people might have switched from a korean or japanese car to another car and they can relate a new experience which is why this thread is opened.

people like u can't relate to shit because u can't afford a better car or don't have a better car to try, then that's too bad.

but do me a favour and save the page count.

i got money, i want to spend, PRACTICALLY and REASONABLY.

Added on February 3, 2012, 1:14 amisn't S15 a drift car? looks kinda sweet right? hhahhahaa but for daily maitenance? it's kinda low also and the place where i travel is like to shah alam and my office car park will cause alot of under carriage bumps

Ehem...

Another daily driven car, also clocks less than 3 minutes per lap on Sepang...aircond, all seats except for drivers are standard and decent NVH as well.

Before saying other people a moron, do you have a good look on own your face in the mirror first?  shakehead.gif
so u admit that you're the moron? whistling.gif who in the right mind would want a carb for "spirited driving" on a highway? from an inline-4 to a carb. i just can't give a better facepalm... yes yes... 3 mins on Sepang, why not stay at Sepang? the time attack is the most important thing? then why not get a 458? that would have the best time! or an F1? since time attack is "EVERYTHING" to u. doh.gif

and u call that decent NVH... my god... smashing your face on the mortar won't save that phrase no matter wad.

its not funny at all if it's your money. He's asking for the right choice ofcourse spoil with so much option. Put yourself into TS's shoe, if you get to choose one car for the next 5-7 years, would you not choose to make the right choice? Talk is cheap these days. But we can give good advise but not condemning the person for making the wrong choice nor being fussy. Everyone has his own priorities.

look at the tone he is using, even a superior dont talk like that to a subordinate.

looking for something is one thing, asking it rudely is another one.

he is expecting to get some tough result as if the forummer are his worker, his worker get paid, we forummer did it for FREE!! so save the attitude and be grateful.

remember, you pay peanut, you get monkey. You pay with air, you get a fark!

try go to naza world with that attitude, and see how one can shame /get humiliated in front of those car salesman.

go, try, i dare anyone with such an attitude, like, I'm rich and i'm so freaking rich i wanna buy a car.

Pls, go naza world Federal highway to get a reality check.

So sorry to tell u that 1jz is pretty bullet proof, very reliable. Once u tried 1jz, 1.6T is just rubbish.

And with TS condition, it's very limited n can hardly get something that can fulfill his requirement.

If you worked with them, you will know why they can afford to be arrogant. Some things are best left undisclosed.

back to the discussion, As you’ve mentioned, this is a free forum. When it’s free, don’t expect anything in return. It’s a place where you share and gain your knowledge. Giving good advices is good but expecting something return…. Well it’s our nation’s moral issue. A word thank you is hard to receive these days.

There’s a lot of instance where this section is slowly incline towards /K. Look at most of the threads. E.g recent “Proton is Junk” to name one out of the few. It’s now more towards a personal blog/rant. No doubt from time to time I do troll, but not till the extend of opening a thread to troll. Having fun and building bond is good. But to toy around for attention isn’t.

If by chance I missed out any of the earlier post sorry. However there is still an option to walk out of this discussion if TS post is exasperating. This will be my last post in this thread. I have no intention on debating. Take it as I’ve been wrong. Cheers.

m52b28 should be just as reliable. problem is, people tend to buy 318i instead a proper 325i or 328i and complain about lack of power.

u all not happy with the way i talk?

then don't post inside la. if u are not happy with the way i talk, why should you even reply to the thread? i not happy with the way some respond. why? DON'T KNOW HOW TO READ CRITERIA.

don't reply la!!! if people talk to me rudely or give me stupid comments also, just ignore or don't layan la. so simple smile.gif

why u want to come and flame bait, dare to talk about rude repsonse when i get STUPID responses? just leave lor. don't need your feedback ma. not happy i don't accept then its okay la.

everything in life there is a DISCUSSION.

NOT EVERYTHING is PERFECT

there will be QUESTIONS and DOUBTS to anything.

EVEN if YOU HAVE MONEY.

learn about life bro.

like i said, what i want or considering is already forte, 308t TURBO and several others. u think so easy to tell people to buy car then they buy car?

i rather punch u in the face because of your stupid forceful opinions. even i buy property 300k for investment i will talk to agents, lawyers, banks, existing property owners, prospectors, developers just go understand or learn more on views then will consolidate and make up my own judgment.

some of you seriously come in and talk as if your money falls from the sky. if it does, good for u and get lost. i am a middle income earner not like you.

if you struggling to even pay your car installment which is below 100k and yet you want to come in and talk big, get lost and do better in life, come back and talk to me.

about beemers, i'm aiming for a e92 model maybe 4-5 years down the road after my next car.

by that time my investments should be reaching a little maturity. smile.gif

my next car should be a mix of sporty driving and good looks with practical servicing. this would be after my honda city. after the beemer, i'm going 4wd something like the X6 for my future family smile.gif

my requirement ultimately is quite simple. let me share again.

1. Budget 100k
2. Sizable (i am 180cm tall)
3. Decent comfort and power
4. Practical and reasonable maintenance
5. Not too old because I want to drive it with a peace of mind.
6. Not too flashy like a CLK or CI because even tho i can afford it, it wouldn't be just with my peers and payload vs my directors.
7. Looks decent

I have considered before:
Forte
Civic
Altis
308T
Sylphy
Inspira

when i comment on something not positive about the car, some of you say i cannot make up mind. then i can easily say, u all don't know how to sell ideas or provide solutions.

I might say inspira is considered a downgrade from the honda badge but you can also come back and argue that, the engine is a mivec and parts are chaeper because locally sourced. size is good with decent power and all those recommendations for me to consider. once i say a bad point, some get emo. pls man. clearly some don't know how to respond to negative criticism.

1. Its a forum, you get rude, others get rude and fck u back, you dont own the forum.
2. U wanna get physical, that's uncalled for, but if you really feel so storngly about it, there is a TT tonight at PJ, feel free to show up
3. Unfortunately some of us money does fall from the sky, maybe you living under the wrong sky?
4. Take a chill pill, if u get worked up from a forum, life would be very short.

5. X6 is a nice car, one of the few BM i cansider buyable (other being 630 but i digress) so dont need wait, just buy it, you might not around next year to enjoy it.
