308thp problem will be on maintenance. if choose between focus and 308thp, I will choose focus. Because theres more power, handles better and it's fuel efficient. 308thp shines with lots of gizmo. but at the end of the day, the small cabin and reliability is something you should consider. Too many electronics.

Why not consider pimping up your existing car? Upgrading the city is much better since you don't need to tie up with loan commitments. end of the day you can still sell the car at a much better price than 308 & forte.

Just my humble opinion.

vervain, that's exactly what i thought before. but pimp up a car? that doesn't change much.

body kits?
sound systems?
lower ride with different rims? those aren't fun stuff to do. i want a whole new look. something that i purchase out of the sheer joy of driving.

i've read great reviews about the ford focus but it's kinda ugly (at the back!)

Then you need to pour in cash thats for sure. Luxurious? like how? different car segment? if yes you have to get those beemer. There is no one car that can dominate all criteria. if there is, the manufacturer just manufacture this one car to profit from the market.

I'm not sure on your expectation, but for 1.5na commercial engine, the City is putting a respectful amount of power. For a NA, you can't expect much unless you play with high-cams or force induction. those would easily set you <10k and sends chills down your spin everytime you sit on your car. When you're getting all accustom to the car of you've reached the limit, then you will only move to the next phase.

rims is one way of getting a good upgrade. good lightweight and good looking rims can actually improve your cars performance slightly. coupled with some good suspension to improve the handling, you will get a nice car.

Honestly when you say you need a whole new look, I can't think of any sub 100k new cars. Moreover fiesta is off the list. I think it's better that you stick with your current ride till you have enough budget to get a 200k ++ car. definitely it can fill up most of your demands. in the meantime just invest in property and gain the $$.

drivers will be drivers.
when u have a powerful car
when u are alone at night
when the roads are clear

don't u feel the urge to step and VROOOOOOM all the way? I do.

laugh.gif i will see how high i could score on my FC instead. will try to hit a 20km/l but nevertheless its hard to maintain at that range. normally it will be around 12-18km/l. Spirited driving can go as low as 0.04 km/l but happens when i'm in the need for speed.

Mx5 and altezza are good choices. Mx5 is a head turner while altezza is a practical sedan.

its not funny at all if it's your money. He's asking for the right choice ofcourse spoil with so much option. Put yourself into TS's shoe, if you get to choose one car for the next 5-7 years, would you not choose to make the right choice? Talk is cheap these days. But we can give good advise but not condemning the person for making the wrong choice nor being fussy. Everyone has his own priorities.

If you worked with them, you will know why they can afford to be arrogant. Some things are best left undisclosed.

back to the discussion, As you’ve mentioned, this is a free forum. When it’s free, don’t expect anything in return. It’s a place where you share and gain your knowledge. Giving good advices is good but expecting something return…. Well it’s our nation’s moral issue. A word thank you is hard to receive these days.

There’s a lot of instance where this section is slowly incline towards /K. Look at most of the threads. E.g recent “Proton is Junk” to name one out of the few. It’s now more towards a personal blog/rant. No doubt from time to time I do troll, but not till the extend of opening a thread to troll. Having fun and building bond is good. But to toy around for attention isn’t.

If by chance I missed out any of the earlier post sorry. However there is still an option to walk out of this discussion if TS post is exasperating. This will be my last post in this thread. I have no intention on debating. Take it as I’ve been wrong. Cheers.
