QUOTE(Proclaimer @ Feb 29 2012, 06:19 PM) Wait, so meaning after sign the loan agreement then before taking the car have to sign something else? Anyody care to elaborate. after that just sign the checklist to show that u're ok with the car when delivered to you. do a thorough check, bring a friend along is best to check the lights, spot any dents, paint chips, scratches, etc.

QUOTE(Ah Shawn @ Mar 2 2012, 09:32 AM) hey guys, jz curious to ask. what are the stock tyres that came with your car? i had silverstones n honestly those wheels are bad..they are not perfectly rounded.my car was vibrating quite hard at high speed. resolved when i changed to yokohamas. appreciate ur feedback on this mine came with Kumho KH17 when i bought in Feb 2011 (6 speed). As I know later / current batches come with Silverstone, possibly due to complaints on noise from Kumho tyres but Kumho tyres that was given are more longer lasting if not mistaken.

QUOTE(squareballs @ Mar 3 2012, 09:33 PM) I get this in Mazda 2 when it's 140.. so how? that means any car that vibrates at 140 is actually a korean car in disguise. it plays to the tune "Koreans in disguise" (sounds familiar? Transformers anyone?). Kevin23 is obviously an id10t so what can I say?

QUOTE(fourteh @ Mar 5 2012, 07:00 PM) Usually if have the budget, no need to ask this question.... direct buy the 2.0 For people like me, budget a bit tight - hati mau 2.0 tapi poket cukup untuk 1.6 - then will see whether extra justified for 2.0 or not. It is not only the 12K - you need to add interest on the 12K, extra road tax, extra insurance for the goodies & the "extra kick in the backside" for something that is not going to last forever. Just my point of view. For me, 1.6SX good enough for what I have paid for..... imagine getting a Vios for that price exactly. vios just kosong car like saga BLM but have ABS and EBD..that's it..lol

Anyway, dun compare with SC laaa... they need 'extra' money to cover ur warranty maaa... skimming? the shop i went suggested spraying or something..cost RM 50 per side..but have to leave it there for 2 days...would skimming / spray painting be better?

QUOTE(izputra @ Mar 11 2012, 02:44 PM) Yaa..skimming will do the trick. But u better do it for all the rims..else, the skimmed rim looks not matching to the other rims..the skimmed rim looks more shiny..so u will easily notice the difference... hmm ok - does skimming including spray painting or just skimming alone will do the job?

QUOTE(izputra @ Mar 11 2012, 02:52 PM) Skim only will do since it's just an outer face scratch. But if u paint the rims in black & then do the skimming like what i did (& some others) before, it surely looks much better..u can take a look at the K5 rims as an instance..it will look just like that (only the design is different) ok..how long does skimming take?

QUOTE(izputra @ Mar 11 2012, 03:13 PM) When i did this before..it took 3 days if i'm not mistaken..in this waiting period, u better have 4 spare wheels to move around..or else, find another 3 Fortezens who wanna skim their rims too & everybody take turn using each others spare rims & tires (+ your own spare rim & tire) until the skimming process for all 4 cars finished hm..if that's the case i guess i'll just get 1 skimmed, leave that skimmed one as spare and take my current spare as my permanent one first, should be fine i guess

QUOTE(izputra @ Mar 11 2012, 03:33 PM) Hmm...might as well just swap the scratch rim with the spare one alone..no need to skim anymore until other rims get some scratch also nah...cos this one is paid by the bugger that hit my car..let him pay it...really upset with that drunken rich a**h***

QUOTE(izputra @ Mar 11 2012, 03:48 PM) Since that he will pay..u better do it for all 4 rims. Say to him that if u do only 1 rim, it will not look the same as the other rims. Ask him to pay u RM250 & skim the rim 1 by 1. Hm...I think cannot lo cos I think he sure not agree one cos one rim only damage and even though bring up matter of not match color I dun think this guy will care...scared end up he no pay at all worse. Plus I din make police report cos he promise to pay when back from holiday

QUOTE(gigohlo @ Mar 11 2012, 09:59 PM) Hi bro, Just wanna ask, PU/ABS is supposed to be quite strong right? As in, won't crack easily right? My bumper hit humps a few times (cos not used to the lowered body) then i realized it cracked. Was i dupped? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « is it PU or ABS first? PU and ABS are total opposites so to speak..PU is cheaper while ABS is tougher but more expensive...most BK are PU to bring costs down..i suppose yours is PU that's why easily cracked
