QUOTE(invinciblezero @ Mar 13 2012, 03:19 PM) Erm...He means that there is a same problem even in Korea?? I believe they are using same size of tyres no idea..he said is just a misconception only...a bit confused since many people faced it and managed to get it "fixed" at some point..another thing is that I tried to ask to reset the ECU cos i noticed my fuel consumption is pretty high, mr arul said resetting the ECU only helps with gear shifting, there's no reset button for FC...wonder if what he said is true though since i think i've seen a few guys resetting their ECU around b4 but has anyone had any experience after resetting the ECU where the FC improved? hi guys, has anyone taken off the original naza logo center rim wheel cap and then install it back WITHOUT taking out the rim? Is it doable? I know taking it out should be easy with some tape like in this video but can i just put it back just by pushing it back into place the same way i took it out?:

QUOTE(lwkong @ Mar 20 2012, 09:22 PM) My windscreen just cracked by itself at my office carpark, is about 15inch long. No sign of kena hit at all. ouch..sorry to hear that...i think i've read before that windscreen do get cracked due to some unknown defect before in the previous version of this thread...how old is yo ur car? if its new and there's absolutely no sign of it being hit, maybe you should consider talking to Mr arul at Kinrara SC (call the SC and ask for him) - tell him your situation and see if he can help. If your car is quite old, you will only be covered if u bought windscreen insurance coverage, if not its not covered as far as i know.I saw from history post some of you also have face this windscreen cracked problem. Do anyone know will Naza warranty for it? Or where do can I change it and how much? tqvm |

QUOTE(lwkong @ Mar 20 2012, 09:30 PM) if that's the case did u buy windscreen coverage? if not i think you'll probably have to pay the full amount for a new windscreen...suggest u to call mr arul @ kinrara SC anyway to see what his advice is. |

QUOTE(izputra @ Mar 23 2012, 10:07 PM) Yupp..the specs are taken from the so-called 'leaked brochure' posted in the several car blogs. Still need a test drive to get the real feel of the car..but if u wanna feel the new turbo engine power & torque, u can get some pictures of it by test driving the Exora Bold. The engine is quite impressive i must say though i can still feel the 'springy' nature of the CVT transmission during take-off. But the CVT is smooth nonetheless. However, i'm not sure whether the 7-speed pro-tronic CVT equipped in this new Proton P3-21A (which the Proton salesman said is not the same with the CVT in the Exora Bold) will performed even better or not. But with paddle shifters (which is not equipped in the Exora Bold), i believe this car drivability should be better than any other Proton cars for sure. seems a bit weird to have paddle shifters on a CVT since CVT has infinite gears...much like having this in the old honda city..would make more sense on a conventional gearbox like the forteAdded on March 23, 2012, 10:22 pm According to manual, if using 16" rims, the recommended tire size is 205/55 (17" rims uses 215/45) & rim width is 6.5 (17" rim width is 7). However, due to very limited choice of 16" rims with 5 studs @ 114.3 PCD, i ended up buying the lightest rims available with ET (offset) 42mm & width 7. Now my rims & tires look slightly 'terkeluar' from the fenders..not so obvious though. Added on March 23, 2012, 10:37 pm Hehe..u use Aussie specs Forte maa..it's slightly different here & there if compared to our Forte specs here in Malaysia. Tak aci lor.. |

QUOTE(izputra @ Mar 24 2012, 09:28 AM) Well, the paddleshifters on a CVT works pretty impressive i must say (tested it on my friend's Lancer GT with 6 predefined ratios). It 'shift' as fast & as responsive as the conventional gearbox's paddleshifters if not better. But for Proton's 7-speed Pro-tronic CVT, yet to has its reviews. yeah i guess that makes sense By the way, bro gregy's POV is in fact very true if u ask me... |

QUOTE(ahpingko @ Mar 24 2012, 03:00 PM) finally dropped a booking for 1.6 EX..that sales agent give me 1.5k discount + bodykit.. officially probably that mahal i guess...but after market one should be cheaper IMHO but warranty will void for sure if u go aftermarket with thisi asked him about the rear view camera, he asked me dont install that at outside, need to give authorised Kia dealer to do..price will be 1.5k..will integrate into my rear view mirror instead of installing a double din player.. so expensive one ah?.. btw, just now during test drive, i heard rattling sound on my driver side door... the rest real gooding...very solid!..and the gear, i just found that it can be like manual.. and Forte transmission is CVT?? or normal AT but with 6 speed?? |

QUOTE(gigohlo @ Mar 25 2012, 01:10 PM) Good luck on that lolx. From what I heard from my sales lady, now only got 3 colours - Titanium Grey, Clear White and Silver. This is because the other colours not so "hot", thats why they don't produce anymore. I tried to ask for black too, but my sales lady told me impossible unless I go respray when the car comes in you're right. there's also a lot less black forte on the road. most common now is clear white and titanium silver. closest to black i guess is titanium silver? which is a nice color honestly. white is great too but if u like washing your car often, go ahead and get white - it does look really nice |
