QUOTE(carloz28 @ Feb 21 2012, 08:55 PM) If Kuyt goes, it will be a massive loss to Liverpool. Liverpool should extend his stay for another 1-2 years seriously. He could't be worse than Henderson! Come on. Kuyt has a knack of scoring important goals for Liverpool, and I can't remember the number of times his goals saved us from blushes and won key games. If he does leave this summer, which i hope he doesn't, he can hold his head up high as he will be reverred as a KOP legend . Of course Kuyt is much more better than Hendo, in term of experience, quality and performance. But KD just like his signing and Henderson is young, so Kuyt is hardly to remain his 1st squad place anymore. Leaving to? I would like to see our Mr. Fernandes bring him to QPR. And rumours said that Fernandes is interest on Ballack! And Liverpool is link with RM's Kheidra and Barca's Affelay! [Source from Soccernet].

QUOTE(rickk @ Feb 21 2012, 05:06 PM) Cardiff is owned by a Malaysian tycoon right? Cardiff is owned by Datuk Chan whose business partner is Vincent Tan of Berjaya Group who has made a fortune through some massive development contracts awarded to him by the ruling coalition. The latter is also the franchise holder for big chains like Krispy Kreme, 7/11, McDonald's, Starbucks, Papa John's, Kenny Rogers and so on. Take a walk around Tropicana City Mall. They also own all the one-arm bandits in the country as well as several hotels and resorts not just in Malaysia but in the UK, Seychelles and Sri Lanka. For those who frequent nightclubs, rest assured they probably own it. Some may question his scruples but there is no denying his success. Datuk Chan is already looking into tapping on the Malaysian audience by looking into youth development initiatives. He's been rumoured to have taken over national youth tournaments and is looking to set up a Cardiff academy here. His own son plays football and after an unsuccessful spell in England, played for Pahang if memory serves me. A friend of mine is now working for him on youth projects. There is little doubt that like Tony Fernandez, he intends to commercialise the club in country. The fact that they hauled Safiq over there for a trial despite Malaysia being out of the top 70 countries in FIFA's World Ranking emphasised this. It created headlines but there was no way he was going to be able to sign a contract with the club.

I agree totally with you. It isn't about being unpatriotic. In this case it's about principles and moral. Not the forum to discuss this though.

It's common knowledge that Indonesian Reds are a fanatical lot. To emphasise this fact, a hotel has been named after our current captain. http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896/premie...-steven-gerrard
