QUOTE(Subconcious @ Jan 30 2012, 12:56 PM) Liverpool is nowhere close to City in the title race this season. Liverpool is aiming for 4th place finish, not 1st atm. It's the Manc City has to be worried about. Plus, it's only a loan, no a buy. If Liverpool DOES get that CL spot, they can just choose to call back Tevez and screw with his life longer |

QUOTE(Duke Red @ Jan 31 2012, 04:04 PM) I agree with you. He isn't exactly the most loyal bloke isn't he? Bellamy may be a firecracker and a loud mouth but he's committed and he works hard. I can't think of too many nice things to say about Tevez other than he is a pretty good footballer. I get the feeling however that there are fans who only care about ability. That's where management skills come in. If Kenny can handle Bellamy, why not Tevez? Suarez was (is) a problematic player as well. Remember the biting back in Ajax? QUOTE(Suparjo @ Jan 31 2012, 04:44 PM) Kenny Dalglish is adamant that Liverpool will conduct no business in what is left of the transfer window That's what he said before Mick McCarthy told the press Kenny called him to ask to postpone the game..... He said that last winter too and we got Andy Carroll. |

Just wait and see lah. I don't want to speculate anymore. If he does buy players great, if none we shall see if Carroll can live up to his expectations.

QUOTE(manx @ Jan 31 2012, 07:36 PM) Hope that Suarez will stay with Liverpool for long years to come. Not going to imagine if he left us for Real Madrid. Rumous also suggesting that Torres might leave for PSG, if he leave Chelsea means he really regreted leaving us last year... He stated Barcelona is his dream.Positive transfers please uncle KD |

Next game against Tottenham. Liverpool better be bringing their best on the table. Tottenham is in super form and Bale is scary yo. I'd pick Kelly over Johnson to contain him. Kelly was superb playing against Giggs.

QUOTE(Duke Red @ Feb 4 2012, 01:36 AM) It's fine to have a soft spot for other teams. About 5 years back, there was a poll comducted in England to identify who fans supported as a second club and Liverpool emerged second behind West Ham. Then again this wasn't an official poll. Point is many fans have second clubs who they follow or have a soft spot for. The clubs I've followed since I started supporting Liverpool are West Ham, Newcastle and Spurs. Liverpool and Arsenal... |

Roger Johnson deserved a booking than Cisse. That tackle was harsh. Cisse has had a few of leg-breakers in the past so it's understandable.

QUOTE(aiyish @ Feb 6 2012, 02:28 AM) Haha, Mu fans trolling chelsea thread. Why lah they like that huh? On the other hand, i believe suarez will start on the bench tomorrow coz he hasn't had a game and he's game fitness might not be there yet. This only applies on B class players. Players at Suarez's level should have no problem with these game fitness bullshit. Suarez should start to add creativity and attacking force on the field. Perfect time to test Gerrad+Suarez combo. These two haven't had the chance to play much together. |
