Suarez earned new respect from me after last nights game.

He was unselfish, then he didnt sulk as much as usual.. He passed the ball very good most of the time. He never looked like he was going to score the penalty... But happy he got his goal... I, as much as Kenny, wanted him to get it.

Only managed to see this on 3-1 . nevertheless the team play well . maybe its brighton but overall glad to see carrol scoring .

reAlly good to have 6 goal especially of fav players scored but doubt whether suarez can really take a penalty.. he missed 2 out of 2 penalty this season

IMO, the 3rd own goal (the 5th goal i think) is not a clear goal, but the referee awards it as a goal because:
1) the score is already 4-1, so another goal wouldn't change a thing
2) it's funny and almost epic to score an own goal like that

Nope, the linesman clearly saw the goal cross the line.

the third own goal is really funny. its almost like Dunk want to shot into his own goal and then he realize and gelabah trying to clear the ball off the line.

I really pity Brighton. Can't blame them for trying. They did score a nice one.

I don't think there's any dispute that the ball cross the line. No one protested and even on TV, it looks pretty clear that it did cross the line.

I'm still a little perplexed as to how our wall was so ineffective. I guess we left gaps rushing to close the ball down as the free-kick was played to Lua-Lua. Regardless, I don't think any keeper would have got down to it.

Decent game all in all. It wasn't played at a high tempo, at least not until Brighton conceeded their third and had to adopt a more attacking lineup, bringing on Vicente in place of a defender. If not for Carlderon's superb clearance from Suarez, Kuyt's header on to the post and Suarez's penalty miss, it could have been more.
