once again, thanks Benny for the prompt reply.

On a separate topic. If i were to check my running process, i notice that is 2 application running which is MAPServiceSamsung and Google service which consist of Cloud to devices messaging service, NetworkLocationService and Google Messaging Service. Any idea what this does? trying googling it but not much info on it.

Hey GNote users, just want to check with you all, can I install apps that I've downloaded from 4shared sites?

I have tried it with galaxy tab 7.0 plus but I can't install. Does it require root to proceed?
Just want some confirmation as I'm interested with G note.

a small piece of clean cloth (or actually tissue oso can), put a bit of alcohol on it and wipe. then blow it with ur mouth (dun let the foods/ ur saliva fly into the port ah rclxub.gif ). wait for a few moments then try plug in the usb cable.

Hi,

I just wanna know that after performing a full wipe from CWM Recovery as follow:

- wipe data/factory reset
- wipe cache partition
- advanced > wipe dalvik

Do I still have to go to the Mount and Storage menu and format /system before flashing a new custom rom?

AOSP is pure Google build without the Samsung added UI while CM is enhanced version of AOSP. MIUI build is leaning towards iphone like UI
Substancer LA6 is NONE of the above - it is close to Samsung stock build

thanks for the clarification benny. i heard you mentioned few times that substancer rom was one of the best custom rom for battery saving and stability so am going to give it a try smile.gif btw there's no need to download separate custom kernel for this rom, right?

Heat - no problem after using custom rom and kernel.
