By default all apps are installed in the hidden 2 GB partition. Most android apps are small in size , few MB only - meaning you can install up to 100-200 apps. For game apps, a well designed game will install its game data on the visible partition of about 11 GB. Unless you install a lot of Gameloft games the internal SD card and its viewable partition is more than enough. I have about 150 apps plus few games and I still have 50 % left in the 2 GB partition and 50 % space left in the viewable 11 GB partition
With the external SD card, you can move apps to ext sd card if you wish but this does not work for all apps. When ICS is on the Note, you cannot have this option of even moving apps to ext SD card anymore
I use the ext sdcard just to store my nandroid backups, titanium backup, SMS backup, music , ebooks, videos

Better buy Sandisk. I have Kingmax and it went corrupt twice already. If you have enough funds, go for 32GB, if not 16GB should be enough unless you have tons of HD videos.

I did hav tons of HD videos but all of them is stored in external hard disk I guess i wont be putting them in the phone.Haha thanks.I think i will get Sandisk

oh oh...i think i have a problem...

you know when you plug in the the charger and the phone sounds "boop-beep" to indicate charging...

mine when i plug in charger, sometimes it take some time before it "boop-beep"...and then randomly every few minutes it gives out the sound again... sometimes it stops charging and starts again randomly and status bar show "MTP Initialization"... i know this should only show if plugged in to USB on the PC, and then it immediately goes back to AC charging...this keeps on repeating itself every few minutes...something weird is happening...

any idea what is going on?

take a clean cloth or smtg to wipe ur usb port. got dust inside i suspect. if no then u can go line up at samsung service centre d.

as for iPhone, if jailbreak, if something happen, just restore it to original fware, and warranty is not voided, i tried...

just got my note 3 weeks ago. did anyone facing a problem whre ur note suddenly turned off. last week my note suddenly went dead. tried to turn it on using the on\off button but didn't worked. then i took off the battery and put it back, thn it can be turned on. it happened again today. any idea?

What do you mean a day - 24 hours ??? I am a medium user - about 2 hours browsing, RSS, Newsfeed, Tweeter, Facebook updates every hour, email check 3 accounts every 30 mins, few calls and sms, 30 mins video youtube  - easily last me 12 -14 hours/day. I am happy with this
So depends on your expectations of battery life
Install betterbatterystats to check what apps is waking up your phone when not in used

If very less usage like sms once a while per day,no browsing + watch movie..mayb occasionally listen to music..how long can it last?

At least minimum full 2 to 3 days
